@Oldboatie @LucyGoBag Of course other suppliers can step in to plug some of the gap. But commercial organisations don’t just have vast amounts of time-limited inventory sat around on the off chance that their largest competitor will have to temporarily cease production.

@SteveDi80972058 @AlexMLowe @willgkelleher They’re both entirely in keeping with the processes. There was an escalation after 3 scrum penalties - the player went on a warning. That’s the correct process. YC w/out warning for a breakdown offence after a line break also bang on protocol (I agree that HA did release though)

@pineconeschris @AlexMLowe @willgkelleher So three penalties at the scrum no escalation. Alleged "no clear release" at first Scottish line break penalty and yellow card. Got it thanks for the advice.

Interesting moment in the game highlighted in this @willgkelleher piece. Zander Fagerson is on a yellow card warning for scrum pens. England - trailing 24-10 and down to 14 men - kick the points. Would SA have gone again and tried to scrum Fagerson into the bin? Should England?
Will Kelleher@willgkelleher

A(nother) painful review for England, returning from Murrayfield where it was some of the most experienced players making errors. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Can they adapt on the fly? 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Can they accentuate good points, like scrum? 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 Can they use this to kick on? @TimesSport thetimes.com/sport/rugby-un…

@Oldboatie @LucyGoBag There isn’t only one supplier, but this is an issue with the largest supplier. They won’t stop elective surgery, they’ll just postpone joint replacements and bring forward other surgeries

@LucyGoBag It’s also weird. There is only one supplier? In the world? Really? They can’t sort out their factory software for months? Really? If I was cynical I might think this while a real issue is a convenient excuse to stop elective surgery and take lots of people off the WL. If I was.

@AlexMLowe @willgkelleher Scotland scrum was warned twice one specifically against Fagerson. Fagerson goes off and Referee warns their scrum again. So 3 warnings no card unlike England no warning yellow card. Scotland score 14 points to lead 17 nil. Game over.

@DadOfAubrey This is such a challenging aspect of parenting after loss, isn’t it? Right alongside watching them reach different life milestones. Thinking of you all

Seeing Indy’s personality come through is heartbreaking. He is such a fun & loveable little boy. I can’t help but project onto what Aubrey might have been. I’m being shown, with startling clarity, what might have been part of our lives. #parentingafterloss

A year ago today you left us. Indy has what’s unmistakably your smile, and Lula still wanders around with her hands clasped behind her back, the way only you did. Bits of you are still here, in the quiet ways. Watch over Aubrey for us.

@RMatthewsPsych I love this tradition! Thanks for sharing, might pinch it for next year’s elf shenanigans!

Started a cute tradition this year- our two (children- not elves!) love to take photos with instant cameras so we’ve set up a Christmas album to preserve them. Photo of what our cheeky elves got up to overnight… They deserve all the festive fun after the year we’ve had.

@ls_freda @babylossdaddy This is a really terrible take. The original one by the MP is awful, but your compassionate response to a bereaved parent is far worse.

@babylossdaddy Midwife here. The fathers (or the wife) I saw had prepared self care packages to help them thru. Most had coolers with sandwiches, snacks & drinks. You have months to get ready.

Parenting a child that has died is a very different experience to the norm, but last week I had the great honour of addressing the APPG on Baby Loss about the importance of high quality bereavement care - definitely one for the parenting bucket list! 💙🌲💖🌈💖🌈

So tonight Indy had a BRUE. Not something we were aware of. We’ve had plenty of terrifying moments, and those 30 sec were right up there - because we were alone. 🙏 to @OFFICIALWMAS for getting here in 9 minutes & to @RWT_NHS paeds A&E. I just hope we’re done with the ❤️stoppers.

Twelfth #waveoflight, the first time I’ve ever been away from home for it. So grateful to work with friends who just got on board without batting an eyelid. Things in the bereaved parent community are pretty ugly at the moment, so this felt like a moment of respite and calm…

It will simply be because that was the proposed scope in the 2019 MoJ consultation (reasons set out here). The gov response to the consultation (2023) was to maintain the status quo - so including this in the Amos ToRs is welcome. I’d be supportive of pushing for a lower gestation to be defined as ‘in-scope’ - but I understand the reasons as set out in the consultation too.
