Like many other indie hackers, I used to anti ads! But last month, I started a Facebook ads campaign, spent a one-time $400, earned a recurring $600/year. It's the first time ever, I tasted the sweetness of paid ads. And it's the machine that can run 24/7 for me!

@Utz_Alexander_ I work long days too but sometimes the burnout just makes me crash and I lose momentum for a day or two. But yeah last week I took a few days to just focus on Ukraine. So tragic. Hope your friends are ok, Alexander.

@noahflk Totally. Burn out in the startup world is way too prevalent and not discussed enough.

@NickDennin If it feels good, go for it. I like consistency in my life but especially with work everyone needs a break from time to time.

@darcyio_ Same. And not just with work. I workout and clean my apt so much more consistently after associating them with dopamine driven tasks.

@gthemiller That’s awesome. Honestly forums/discord/slack chats are life savers when using these tools. Customer service is just too slow and clunky.

@prakawesome @ImSh4yy @nocodebackend @bubble I actually have heard great things about Xano and bubble. It’s more so tools like @AdaloHQ that just in general have latency issues. Pulling from a separate backend isn’t going to fix their issues is what I was trying to say. Xano is awesome for what it’s built to do.

@NickDennin @ImSh4yy @nocodebackend @bubble Thanks for the shoutout. I’d love to learn more about this! We have lots of Xano users that use us along side bubble to get around their speed and scaling issues. Any latency experienced is usually because bubble proxies their APi requests but happy to personally look into it.

@NickDennin I'm no expert but sometimes if you know it's not working you just have to try something else. At least in the interim you can try to gather as much info. Of course, there are lots of facto to consider and is entirely situation dependent. You got this 💪
