@wrightca Zep TKO, Cherry Bomb, Fast Orange, Gojo, etc. All basically degreasers with some pumice grit. Then use a fingernail brush for grease under nails and in cracked skin. I find the pumice degreasers extra effective if used in conjunction with a washcloth.

@OriginalA_the_P I certainly hope so. The reasons given for this conflict felt hand-wavy and fake. When we aren't told the real reasons, it's hard to trust they are sound. And then Graham and Cruz come in with neocon, our-greatest-ally slop. So is this in our national interest? I want to believe.

@pixelot He has to deal with the fact that they are entangled with Congress and our economy, and that might even force him to react to events on their terms. So far so bad. But like any strong man he keeps his enemies close. If he can't remove them, at least he can use them.
English

@OriginalA_the_P I hope Trump really knows what he's doing, and remains committed to the policies that got him elected. And I hope he can pull it off without tanking midterms. But the mixed messages and seeming reversals play right into the narrative of those who say Trump is no different.
English

@pixelot Lindsay Graham and Ted Cruz have made a powerful case that Israel is a massive subversive element in our politics. I can completely understand why it looks like we are getting played, and we probably are to some extent. But I don't think it follows that Trump is their puppet.

@OriginalA_the_P I like Trump and Hegseth, and hope for the best with this conflict and its outcomes. But it is hard to square with Trump's America First, "no new wars" agenda, and looks much more like political self-sabotage prompted by Israel. Time will tell.
English

@OriginalA_the_P Granted there is an apparent or superficial irony, but I suspect the Deus Vult posters would be much more complacent if we were a credibly Christian nation, acting on explicitly religious motives to establish and protect Christendom in Iran.
English

@OriginalA_the_P Whereas, in fact, we are given dubious reasons for getting drawn into a conflict not certain to improve the situation for Christians in the Middle East, and potentially deleterious to our national interests, and the stability of Trump administration. Not encouraging.

@PsalmWarfare Hart's original was even less intelligible, something more like:
Fruit grows from seeds.
#Apples are fruit.
Therefore, all fruit are apples.

Apples are fruit.
Bananas are fruit.
Therefore, all apples are bananas.

Hard not to conclude that Joe & Tucker are courageous men, pointing out the uncomfortable truth about our fraught relationship with Israel.
Shadow of Ezra@ShadowofEzra
Joe Kent tells Tucker Carlson that President Trump’s administration misled the world about Iran being an imminent threat. Kent says the real imminent threat came from Israel, which he claims was planning to strike Iran first, putting U.S. soldiers in harm’s way. He says this ultimately forced the United States to carry out a preemptive attack on Iran.
