日本人が低知能を外国人にバカにされると必ず取る戦法が「嫌味」と「皮肉」で外国人やその国を侮辱して人格攻撃をする戦法だ。
日本人は相手を意図的に激怒させ、感情的に成った相手を嘲笑して自分が勝ったと自己満足して逃走する戦法を取る。
しかし、その副作用は甚大で将来的に物理的にボコボコにされるのが日本人。このペースなら数か月で海外に反日コミュニティーが形成されてもおかしくない。

Bad bike lanes that serve 1% of the population who are psychologically risk-takers (predominantly young, male and in excellent shape) is unfair and counterproductive- it turns people against the cause of bikes. No amount of trips to the gym can outsmart being risk-averse. We are or we aren’t. And anyways - biking should be fun and relaxing - then we will see mass adoption.

Studies confirm this pattern again and again. Women, being smarter, have a lower tolerance for foolish physical risk than men. If you want more people using bikes, BUILD REAL PROTECTED BIKE LANES.

Landlords treat real estate like a God given right profit YOY. As soon as it doesn't, they lose it. You could have bought space stocks and been up a gazillion %. Instead, your plan was to hoard a moldy shoebox & squeeze a geriatric until death. It was your choice. Live with it.

Vacancy Control. Tenant died in February 2025; it took a year in housing court to gain possession. The renter occupied the unit for 46 years. He owed $19,957.41 on a rent of $1,234.87 at the time of death. Operating cost is $1,380, so it “makes” -$146 every month before renovation costs. The rent cannot be changed on vacsncy and tbe Rent Guidlines Board does not keep up with cost. There is no mechanism to cover the costs of the full gut renovation needed for the next renter, nor will a bank extend a loan to do the work to cover the costs with a rent that can never pay it back. As a result, the unit will stay empty. This is your city on vacancy control.

Really dislike the most popular brand of sketch comedy being “it’s cringe when people express any genuine sentiment, because someone else before may have experienced the same thing.” Might be more socially toxic than Woke ever was. The premise is that enjoying things for their own sake is shameful because it might define you as a Type of Guy, so in order to have any genuine emotion you have to couch it in irony to avoid the vulnerability of existing in a continuous sense. Instead of liking a song and thus worrying about how that reflects on you, you inhabit a character that’s The Type of Guy Who Likes That Song for a few minutes. It’s not you, it’s someone else. You’ve never experienced an emotion, except for irreverence and computer-mediated reflexive derision for those who do. We should throw rotting fruit at “sketch comedians” (who do nothing but iterate out the last few cracks of real human experience) in the streets, as the Romans once did to actors and other undesirables
