@j2001mj2001m Is the going to magically change the quality of Xbox games? A shinier better looking game with boring gameplay mechanics and story is just a shinier better looking game with no substance. Microsoft should step back do an analysis on what gamers actually want and deliver that.

🚨 FSR 4 is gonna get absolutely COOKED on base PS5
Real INT8 AI performance:
- PS5 (FP16 fallback): 20.6 TOPS
- Xbox Series S: 16.0 TOPS
- Xbox Series X: 48.6 TOPS
PS5 is barely above the Series S and less than half the Series X.
On top of that, Sony deliberately limited the PS5 hardware — no FSR 3.1 support in their API. That means no clean automatic FSR 4 for games. Devs will have to manually implement it (if they bother at all).
Sony really kneecapped their own console on AI upscaling while Microsoft pushed forward 😂

@lastchalice Microsoft has to eat some of the cost of the console I order for me to give it a chance. I’d not pay more than $700 for one. They can eat the excess as a gesture of goodwill. But before any of that, they need to have a real game line up with a new halo that’s actually phenomenal

@lastchalice The exclusive games have to be excellent in order for me to buy another Microsoft system. As it stands for consoles I’m fully in the Sony camp. My Series X hasn’t been touched for months now unfortunately.

@TheRooster GTA could certainly price the game at $80. Just because they do doesn’t mean others can. This wouldn’t push the entire industry to do it, because the entire industry doesn’t make games as good as what’s expected from Rockstar and GTA.

Wall Street wants GTA 6 to be $80.
The publisher just confirmed GTA 6 has an "unlimited budget for perfection."
And now an analyst is openly begging them to launch at $80 to raise the price tag for the whole industry.
Because they know GTA 6 is the only game on the planet with enough hype to launch at $80 without causing a massive boycott.
They want GTA to take the initial PR hit because they can justify it with their "unlimited budget" and promise of "perfection"
But once that $70 ceiling is broken, every other publisher will quietly bump their standard games to $80 too... Fucking hell.

GTA 6 is delaying PC, because... Look at the GTA Online revenues below. The gap between console and PC earnings is INSANE. PC players can easily bypass the Shark Card economy. They can use mods or play in unofficial roleplay servers like FiveM. But on Playstation and Xbox, you're locked into official servers where the only way up is to grind or pay. Rockstar is delaying the PC release to protect the launch economy of GTA Online 2.0 They're forcing the entire player base onto consoles for the first 12-18 months, and trapping their biggest whales in a closed ecosystem where microtransactions can't be bypassed. It guarantees them the maximum bag during the peak hype window. Plus, Rockstar acquired FiveM team back in 2023. The delay buys them time to figure out how to officially monetize the PC modding scene before they open the floodgates. What percentage of PC gamers do you think will get a console just to play GTA 6 at launch?

In 2024, Elizabeth Warren celebrated blocking its merger with JetBlue as a win for consumers. The logic: stop the merger, protect competition, keep fares low.
What actually happened: Spirit filed bankruptcy twice anyway, couldn't survive soaring fuel costs from the Iran war, and no buyer materialized. The Trump administration tried a bailout. That also failed.
Warren's "win" didn't kill Spirit alone. But she handed a terminally ill airline a shovel and called it a rescue.

PlayStation support has confirmed that a new digital rights management policy for the console is intentional, not a glitch.
Starting with any digital games purchased after the March 2026 system update, your PS5 will require an internet connection at least once every 30 days to validate the license.
If the console stays offline longer than that, the games simply will not launch until you reconnect.
This change does not affect any titles already in your library. Setting a console as your primary system also will not bypass the monthly check-in.
