@KarenFriesen18 @KarlPet05584713 @JeffreyRWRath This just shows the idiocy of the whole separatism movement. It isn't about Alberta's place in confederation if any disgruntled far right loon can move to Alberta just to vote to break up confederation. Fuck all of you whiny, traitorous assholes!

@KarlPet05584713 @JeffreyRWRath No. If you move here oct18 you can vote Oct 19 as long as you have government issued ID/ rental agreement.... Mortgage documents verify that you are a resident of Alberta..... Even a library card , utility bill, etc. helps.

OFFICIAL NOTICE STAY FREE ALBERTA! TO ALL OF OUR HARD WORKING CANVASSERS AND PETITION SIGNERS! TODAY - we have filed a Notice of Appeal of the Decision of Justice Leonard to take away your democratic rights to petition your government. On Tuesday we will be filing an application at the Court of Appeal for a stay of the decision of Justice Leonard. A major ground of Appeal is that there is no obligation to consult First Nations where no rights are infringed. THE SUPREME COURT OF CANADA made it clear that no rights are impacted by an Independence Referendum even in the context of a YES vote. If no rights are infringed or impacted there is no duty to consult! In any event, the Court confirmed @ABDanielleSmith HAS THE POWER to call your question under s. 1 of the Referendum Act whether a petition is certified or not. Danielle Smith has been served with a statutory declaration attesting to the 301,620 Albertans demanding a Clarity Act compliant referendum question on Independence. Please email premier@ab.gov.ca and encourage Premier Smith to do her job. Please go to Unitedconservativ.ca and buy a membership. It’s time to remind Danielle Smith who she works for.

Albertans!!! We followed every BS rule the provincial system laid out… and still got completely screwed. Elections Alberta approved the independence petition on January 2, 2026. Thousands of brave Alberta volunteers, organized, badged and following strict rules were forced to start collecting signatures in the middle of the cold Alberta winter. They did it! For 4 straight months these dedicated Albertans stood outside in freezing conditions on the side of highways, in parking lots, and at store entrances because that’s what the process demanded. No online clicks. Physical signatures only, from real eligible voters. They smashed the requirement and delivered hundreds of thousands of signatures!!! Now the courts (with federal influence and treaty claims) are trying to kneecap the entire thing. This is what “CANADIAN DEMOCRACY” looks like!!! Make Albertans go through the process to have their voices heard… then move the goalposts when they actually succeed. Absolute bullshit. Alberta deserves way better than this!!! Get your @Alberta_UCP membership and lets turn this around! unitedconservative.ca/take-action/me…

Breaking today: David Parker is officially not cooperating with Elections Alberta’s investigation into the Centurion Project voter list scandal. Chief Electoral Officer Gordon McClure confirmed it himself: Parker has refused to sign a statutory declaration confirming he will comply with the cease-and-desist order regarding the list of electors. Let that sink in. The cease-and-desist required Parker to sign a statement declaring he would stop using the official voter list, which contains the names and addresses of close to three million Albertans. He won’t sign it. Elections Alberta, the RCMP, and Alberta’s privacy commissioner are all separately investigating the leak. Three separate investigations and the guy at the centre of it is stonewalling all of them. This isn’t even Parker’s first rodeo. He and Take Back Alberta were fined a combined $120,000 in February 2025 for a series of election law violations related to the 2023 provincial election, including failing to report fundraising income, circumventing advertising limits, and knowingly making a false statement to the chief electoral officer. And his response to all of this? He called Elections Alberta an “evil institution” and said he would “not rest until everyone responsible for the lawfare being waged out of that den of evil are brought to justice.” The personal data of nearly three million Albertans is potentially still in the hands of someone who refuses to confirm he’s stopped using it. This is someone treating the law as optional when it applies to him. At what point will there actually be consequences?

I’ve gone to the same gym for almost 4 years now. Good friends with nearly everyone there. One day a guy who used to make small talk with me, just stopped. Didn’t think much of it, but it went on for weeks. Found out later he’s a liberal and someone showed him my X account and he just won’t talk to me now. This has happened many many many times since becoming publicly conservative. I’ve lost many friends and even many more acquaintances. They won’t even discuss us. Won’t even look at me. It’s bad for me… but it’s 10,000x worse for my wife. Liberal women are genuinely EVIL to conservative women. It’s on another level. Pure evil. No one talks about this enough but the public shaming of people who are openly conservative is extremely intense and unless you have a lot of mental fortitude and surround yourself with better people quickly… I can understand why many find it is not worth saying anything at all. But that doesn’t make it harder for those of us who speak up… because we are the few.

@VERYEDiTORiAL @GadSaad I'm a realist. If you're an American and hate it in Canada, move back. We don't want stupid people here who thought Hamilton would be like Manhattan. Craziest thing that I've heard someone say in quite a while.

Both Jordan and I love Canada but there comes a point where the abject antipathy that you experience from Canadian society forces you to look elsewhere to a place where you might be appreciated and allowed to flourish.
Deb Danger@superdeb_danger

@GadSaad Nooooo! Between you and Dr. Peterson we are losing all of our common sense, critical thinking messengers of hope. Devastating brain drain and fortified spine and integrity drain. 😭

@JeffreyRWRath Because the Reform Party and then CPC broke the promise for an EEE Senate. More Conservative rage bait, that Conservatives failed to fix in their 10 years in power.

DISGRACEFUL: Pete Davidson made a disgusting Charlie Kirk joke at Kevin Hart’s roast. "Tony reminds me of Charlie Kirk, and that's he's definitely been on camera letting a guy unload in his throat.” That wasn’t comedy. That was vile and completely beneath the belt.

@KarenLa21271377 A little history for you, as you whine about the Senate. It is from Confederation and needs to be fixed, and when the Reform Party (now CPC) ran, their big thing was a EEE Senate. Guess what? The Conservatives broke that promise, like they do with everything.

Why does Alberta have only 6 senators with over 5 million people, Nova Scotia have 10 senators with ~1.1 million people, Newfoundland and Labrador have 5 senators with ~550,000 people, New Brunswick have 9 senators with ~870,000 people, Manitoba have 5 senators with 1.5 million people, Ontario have 23 senators with ~16.2 million people, PEI have 4 senators with ~182,000 people, Quebec have 20 senators with ~9.1 million people, Saskatchewan have 6 senators with ~1.27 million people, BC have 6 senators with ~4.82 million people? How is this fair and equitable??? Unreal. This system is outrageous and no I don’t live out west, I live in Ontario and I knew that the seats in the house were not fair and I didn’t look that up but I had the senators list when I called all of them to ask them to vote against bill C-9 and I just can’t believe how unfair this is. We should all have equal seats and senators as per population! Is there something I don’t understand here.

@GadSaad I moved to Hamilton from the USA in 2016 because the CBC said it was going to be the next Brooklyn—and I was stupid, desperate, and nostalgic enough to believe it. Now I'm hatching my escape plan—and once I'm gone I don't intend to ever look back.
