Real crisis of confidence @Polymarket . Firing head of markets and flipping a .96c market on the same day is something only they could pull off. I would not recommend anyone bet on any contestable markets for several months.

@polyint @Polymarket The real crisis of confidence is that almost everyone including me, were convinced that if this goes to UMA it would be a NO. As soon as Polymarket said they will clarify the price spiked to 30% and I bought Y too at that time because I trust Polymarket but I don't trust UMA.

Marco Rubio 3 days before the war started in February said Iran is not currently enriching. There is nobody arguing on the international stage that Iran is presently enriching. There is not even a debate, US and Iran say same thing. When i say there is not even a debate, I dont mean one side is winning. I mean there is literally no one arguing that Iran is currently enriching.

🚨 A new UMA scam attempt is taking place 🚨 UMArocks whales are trying to rug the "Will Iran agree to end Uranium enrichment" market In the last days since the MoU has been leaked, the have been accumulating massive amounts of YES shares. Their plan is to force resolution to yes based on a frivolous interpretation of the MoU text, as soon as it's signed. Point 9 of the MoU says : "Pending the final deal. The Islamic republic of Iran will maintain the current status quo of it's nuclear program" They want to pass it off as saying Iran has agreed to end enrichment during the negociations. This is ridiculous. Iran is currently : - enriching at 3.67% for nuclear reactors - enriching at 20% for medical isotopes - enriching at 60% for potential weapons This is the status quo. This is the entire reason there is a war. If the current "status quo" is that Iran does not enrich Uranium as part of it's nuclear program then why is the previous point mentioning negotiations on Iran's nuclear enrichment ? Point 9 even says that *the US and Iran* must both maintain the status quo, which is understood as "the US must not impose additional sanctions". No one in their right mind would think it implies that the US has agreed to end all sanctions during the talks It's obvious to any honest observer that "maintaining the status quo" means not expending their nuclear program, for example, not to start enriching uranium to 90% during the talks. But it is exactly why they are betting against it. They know that traders will fill their orders. As soon as the deal is signed, they will propose using their Whitelisted wallets and use their control of UMA to pass their made up resolution. If a consensus of credible reporting announces that Iran agreed to pause all uranium enrichment during the talks, then let it resolve to YES, but it is not what is happening there. @Polymarket must issue a preventative clarification saying that this alone will not suffice for resolution or a ton of traders will get burned before they step in @shayne_coplan @mustafap0ly

You’re right, never occurred to me as you might have seen in my original post I’m not of fan of prediction markets and don’t use polymarket so not something I considered but i think it’s fairly obvious this market shouldn’t close on May 30, whoever suggested that was clearly betting no or an inside, that literally wouldn’t make any sense. But I dont like the precedent that is being set because cases like this will expand out of prediction markets in my eyes. I’d consider the movement of the exact amount to coinbase prime and then the mstr filing indicting that exact same amount was sold last week as proof to me. I’m still confused as to what polymarkets argument against that is Those are the two exact pieces polymarket said they were going to use to resolve But not a bad idea, @grok can you review this thread and answer all the questions that are bullet points, should polymarket have resolved yes instead of no?

A few questions about Polymarkets recent robbery for anyone who thinks the gamblers (it’s not trading) are at fault… If MSTR’s May 31st buy “didn’t happen” in thier eyes - why could you still bet “YES” on June 1st? If the market was resolved it should have been closed, simple. - is it verifiable on chain that MSTR sold bitcoin? Yes - did MSTR announce they sold by that date? Yes, they announced 3 days after So far we’ve confirmed, 1 -the market was open on 6/1 and 2-we can see on chain they sold by 5/31 and 3- MSTR also told us they did a few days after and 4-Polymarket themselves confirmed this with a tweet on 6/1 Lastly, Did their original wording align with their NO resolution? No Awful precedent they are allowed to set here that after a resolution happens they can just update the wording of the bet. I hate online gambling (especially prediction markets!) and think its ruining society, crypto and our culture but I still belive in fairness and contracts and hope to see @willow2_poly and others win this fight
