Most neural nets are still based on the model of a neuron as proposed in the 1950's: u = activation(w·x + b) In a new paper, researchers propose a more accurate model of a biological brain neuron and found that it has quite a few advantages, like needing less training data.

@DeryaTR_ Wow, that looks amazing! Is ChatGPT sites just plain hosting or does it have access to an LLM? That would be really cool, to have a "living" website depending on specific inputs.

Created my first ChatGPT "Sites" website within Codex GPT-5.6 Sol. It's a fairly simple simulation of T cell signaling & not yet scientifically verified, but it was a quick test to see how it works. I think it does work well & looks pretty cool imo😊 tcr-signal-lab.snow-crash.chatgpt.site

@badlogicgames What about learnings between versions or rewrites? I think it is useful for the LLM. But maybe not considered memory?

LLMs are incredibly good at almost everything, except not sounding like an LLM.

i’ve shifted from telling agents what to do, to asking them what to do, and pulling the best thread.

The best way to progress high-rep dips is to do heavy low-rep dips. The reverse isn't the case. This applies to every exercise I can think of. Any exceptions?

@lexfridman Argentina didn't face any serious opponent till the semi final. I will be surprised if they make it to the final

@mattshumer_ "GPT-5.6-Sol just accidentally deleted almost ALL of my Mac’s files. And this is why I trust Fable 1000x more." Sorry, but that doesn't make sense. You trust Fable more because GPT deleted you files?

@pors @pmarca I need to read up on NOSTR, but I'm sensing what you're saying is there's a way to obtain a public key for profiles there and use that to encrypt?

@pmarca Don't believe everything Levels says. This is not the scary law that passed. E2E encryption is still safe and it is based on voluntary actions by the chat providers only. Of course the way the voting was done was dirty, but the law is not as dramatic as levels makes use believe

@pmarca Time for an upgrade to the SMTP protocol that uses a block chain to make public the public key of an email recipient and maybe a hash of the email address so email clients can find the public key, encrypt and then send an email so no third party can read it.

Unfortunately, outward confidence is not correlated with being correct. Remember that on this website. Apply it to me as well!

Feature request for ChatGPT: add a big fat red label with the topic of the current chat so when I tab through my open chrome windows/tabs I know when to stop tabbing. @ChatGPTapp

Grok 4.5 from @SpaceXAI is live on OpenClaw. No OpenClaw update required, just connect your X Premium or SuperGrok subscription, select Grok 4.5 under the xAI provider, and use an Opus-class model that’s fast, low cost, and ready for agentic work.
