🚨 DAMN.
Ruby Bridges said the moment she finally understood what was happening during school integration was when a little white boy told her:
“My mom said I can’t play with you because you’re a nigger.”
She was SIX.
And she said hearing that felt like “a huge weight lifted,” because suddenly everything made sense.
Why the classrooms were empty.
Why adults were screaming.
Why U.S. Marshals had to escort her to school.
Not because of anything she did.
Just because of the color of her skin.
A six-year-old child realizing an entire country was angry at her for existing.

Oh no problem, I’ll explain: I’m not looking for Republican friendly Dems. And never have been. I’m looking for Dems (and Republicans, but they’re gone) who will stand up and forcefully defend America from Trump’s corrupt, destructive forces. Hope that helps.

I don’t why the people who advocate for centrist, Republican-friendly Dems are mad that Fetterman became a centrist, Republican-friendly Dem Fetterman has become the exact type of candidate Sarah advocates for!

Rep. Nancy Mace says she has seen the Epstein client list and warns that the names on it will shock the entire world.
She adds, as a Republican, that the DOJ is protecting those identities.
According to Mace, the list includes both Republicans and Democrats, along with wealthy elites, media figures, people in power, and even current and former prime ministers and presidents.
She says the Epstein case will go down as one of the greatest cover-ups in American history.

Re: Trump's bruising
I obviously cannot diagnose someone online and I am a psychiatrist so my diagnosis might not be the best but I would really put good money on him regularly needing IV diuretics for his pretty obvious congestive heart failure, leading to the bruising we see.

Enjoying the fact that Trump’s attempted hijacking of our 250th birthday is backfiring; that the harder he tries, the worse it’s getting for him; and that it shows the democratic opponents to his authoritarian cult of personality to be the real patriots.

This is Nate Paul.
He was under FBI investigation for fraud. His real estate empire was collapsing after 18 properties filed for bankruptcy in a single year.
He wrote Ken Paxton a $25,000 check.
Then Paxton directed his AG’s office to hand Paul confidential investigative files.
They blocked foreclosure sales on his properties.
And they sided with Paul against the charity he was accused of defrauding.
Nate Paul even employed Paxton's mistress at Paxton’s recommendation.
Paxton's own senior staff reported his corruption to the FBI. They were fired.
This is what Ken Paxton does when he’s in a position of power — and it’s why he should be nowhere near the U.S. Senate.

Lost in the "Talarico has a lobbyist girlfriend and she's VEGAN" story is a detail that apparently Brianna Menard is descended from Michel Branamour Menard the Canadian Fur Trader who founded Galveston, Texas and signed the Texas Declaration of Independence, who Menard County is named after lol

Costco put a hard ceiling on how much money it's allowed to make on every item in the building. 14% on national brands, 15% on Kirkland. Bring in a product priced one point above that and a buyer kills it before it ever hits a shelf.
That sounds like a company leaving billions on the table. It is. And it's the most profitable decision in modern retail.
Run the bull case for marking up like everyone else. Walmart sits around 25%. Kroger and the traditional grocers run 25-50%. Price Costco's $249B in merchandise like a normal store and gross profit roughly doubles. Every spreadsheet says raise prices.
Here's what those spreadsheets miss. The product is the $65 card you buy before you're allowed through the door. Everything on the shelves exists to make that card feel worth renewing. Membership fees hit $4.8B last year, cost almost nothing to deliver, and throw off two-thirds of operating income. Renewal sits at 90%, the kind of retention most software companies never reach.
So Costco treats the 21% discount as customer acquisition spend. Every dollar it refuses to mark up makes the $65 renewal feel automatic. Cheaper shelves, stickier subscription.
Now read the chart as a spending report. The number next to each store shows how hard it can discount before the model breaks. Costco can sit at negative 21 because the membership line eats the loss. Walmart can't follow without a second revenue stream it doesn't have.
Walmart makes money when you buy. Costco makes money when you walk in. Whole Foods, at 40% above Walmart, has no membership fee underwriting its prices, so the margin has to come off the shelf.
The discount is the moat. The trade was never close.

When the Trump administration came into office, it was presented with a playbook, 100s of pages long, detailing how to organize a multi-agency response to threats, including #Ebola. It's not being used, @_daniel_payne & @ChelseaCirruzzo report. statnews.com/2026/05/30/tru…
