LoP Shri @RahulGandhi and @INCIndia continue to shamelessly exploit students as political tools to manufacture disruption during the Monsoon Session of Parliament. Shri @RahulGandhi and @INCIndia chose to stage a dharna outside the Hon'ble Prime Minister's residence , causing inconvenience to the public and disregarding established security protocols. Even after Government conveyed its readiness for a comprehensive discussion, the Congress chose political spectacle over democratic debate. Their objective was never solutions for students, it was disruption for political headlines For Rahul Gandhi, this is not about students. This is about manufacturing confrontation after every genuine avenue for discussion has been opened. Our Government remains 100% committed to discussing NEET and addressing every genuine concern of our youth on the floor of the House. The students of India deserve far better than being treated as props in a political campaign. They deserve certainty over chaos, solutions over slogans and responsibility over disruption. We owe our students more than outrage. We owe them answers, reforms and accountability. That is exactly what our government remains committed to delivering.

I strongly condemn the TN Government led by @actorvijay for arresting rap singer and my dear brother ‘Therukkural’ Arivu for speaking out against NEET.
His voice reflects the sentiments and demands of not just Tamil Nadu, but millions of people across India.
At a time when the CJP-led rallies and protests against #NEET are gaining momentum across the country, the TVK government has chosen to arrest Arivu.
This sends a troubling message to the youth of Tamil Nadu who are considering taking to the streets in solidarity with the protesting youth in Delhi to oppose NEET.
NEET is not just riddled with discrepancies; it has become a scam.
The voices raised against NEET deserve to be heard, not silenced.

It is literally going to be the deciding factor of the fate of the KTCC or the larger TamilNadu state's economy in the next two decades and there is no other option unless the potential growth story is accepted to be compromised 😞
Would request @TRBRajaa & other opp. political peers - that all opposition parties take this up as a united front to convince the present government about the importance of this project and stand behind it till the project moves forward to execution.

The Union Ministry of Civil Aviation’s reply to Honourable MP @PWilsonDMK in the Rajya Sabha confirms that the Government of India granted ‘In-Principle’ approval for the #Parandur Greenfield International #Airport on 07.04.2025, based on TIDCO’s proposal. This is yet another affirmation that the #DravidianModel Government under the leadership of the then Honourable Chief Minister @mkstalin meticulously secured every statutory and stage-wise approval required to make #Chennai’s long-awaited ***dual independent runway*** Greenfield International Airport a reality. 🛫 Tamil Nadu cannot afford to mortgage its future to political grandstanding. Chennai urgently needs a 5,000+ acre next generation aviation hub with two “independent parallel” 4000Mtrs+ CodeF runways (not intersecting runways like Meenambakam which curtails runway capacity with lengths of 3600+Mtrs Code4E and 2000+Mtrs Code 3C ), MRO facilities, cargo terminals, aerospace industries, logistics parks, hotels and some room for future expansion. The site was chosen after extensive technical evaluation, balancing aviation requirements, connectivity, future scalability and minimising overall social and environmental impact. The #DravidianModel Government recognised the pain and angst of the affected villages and designed one of India’s most comprehensive rehabilitation and compensation packages to ensure affected families receive the best possible support while enabling a project that will benefit generations to come. Every responsible political party must rise above short-term politics and support transformational infrastructure that will shape Tamil Nadu’s future. Every decision on critical infrastructure must ultimately be guided by science, technical expertise and the long-term interests of Tamil Nadu. It is deeply unfortunate that a project of such strategic importance now stands clouded by uncertainty, with the Government maintaining silence while media reports speculate that it has been abandoned.
