Pleased to host the Chief of Staff and Head of Public Service Hon. Felix Kosgei @koske_felix as Chief Guest in a meeting with Heads of leading research institutions 🇰🇪 for a powerful conversation on the future of research and innovation in Kenya. Joined by my colleagues PSs @fnoluga @psmuthoni @JKorir_K @DrJumaMukhwana @DrKipronoh @JoelArumonyang @BonyBarasa @GMugambi_CBS We engaged in meaningful discussions on strengthening research funding, fostering collaboration, and translating data into practical solutions that address our nation’s most urgent challenges.
From building resilience against drought to advancing sustainable agriculture and enhancing food security, we reaffirmed our commitment to ensuring that research does not remain on paper but becomes a driving force for real impact in our communities. Kenya’s progress depends on evidence-based policy, strategic investment, and strong partnerships between government, academia, and industry. Highlighted on creating clusters and think tanks to support policy formulation towards impactful programme for society.
Together, we are shaping a future where research works for the people and powers sustainable development across the country. Kenya is on the trajectory towards 1st world class status and research and innovation is the engine. @nacosti @KENIAupdates @ScienceRI_Kenya @KEMRI_Kenya @kalromkulima @KmfriResearch @KEFRIHQ @knrakenya @kipikenya @kirdi_kenya @museumsofkenya @primateresearch @nrfkenya @OfficePCS_KE #Accountability #Impact #Governance
