@aarondfrancis "how do I run this thing?" is a very similar problem to "what env's do i need to run this" maybe solo could have it's own env service or a way to integrate with existing ones like doppler, vault, etc.

I've been building Solo for several months, and it's out today! It's a desktop app that manages your entire dev stack. Add a project, Solo detects your processes, and you can start everything with one click. It's free! Try it today: soloterm.com

How can I break the 5k views wall on YouTube? Is my niche too small? Should I consider other content styles?

Introducing nlsh - Natural Language Shell nlsh lets you talk to your terminal like a normal person. it has context awareness and you can still run regular shell commands 100% open source & free (website too). if you find it useful, a star would mean a lot ⭐ PR's are welcome :)

@adamdotdev main issue for me is speed. my sessions in opencode tend to be longer because its super slow compared to opus

It’s wild to me how many people don’t realize how much smarter 5.2 is than opus, it’s not even close. My guess is this is entirely based on the Claude max plan token subsidy

24 hour sonnet factorio run recap ~100 iterations - some mild downtime fixing the mod, the pumps and pipes were rough - got electricity, managed to connect the poles properly after a few tries - had some external steering (read messages I sent to a particular X thread and added to the next iteration. didnt work all the time, so idk how much it helped) - managed to get crate->assembly machine->crate automation but didnt try too hard with belts - spent the majority of the time mining and moving shit manually even tho it was told to focus on automation - almost got to green science - got pwned by biters. tried to recover and add a turret, but it was too late gonna play with it some more offline and come back for another run soon

urgent pro tips with Claude Code : • add a CLAUDE.md rules asking AI to NEVER use `rm -rf` and instead use `trash` • install trash CLI `brew install trash` • add a Claude Code hooks to refuse any command with rm -rf

I'm tired of seeing AI-related stuff on my feed I want to see content related to programming, software engineering, and computers (as well as things that use combustion as a means to propel projectiles) without having to dig through a swamp of slop I'll try this out for a week and see if my feed improves

@kmdrfx if claude code migrates to using opentui, will they allow using claude subscription with opencode already? /s

Claude Code flicker is not due to vibe coding. It's due to how terminals work since forever. No unicorn dev could fix it currently. Ghostty is working on improving that ecosystem. The fact that they got that far with that architecture is an incredible achievement. Just saying.
