Israelis crack me up. Someone built an app that estimates how safe it is to take a shower. If a siren sounds, you don’t want to be running to a shelter soaking wet and covered in soap. The app analyzes recent patterns of rocket fire to estimate the safest time of day to shower.

Of course some genius Israelis invented an app where you can scan a barcode and see who’s single in the shelter 😂

There is also the ridiculous contention that George, who is played by Jewish Jason Alexander doing an exaggerated impression of Larry David, is Italian. This conceit is maintained even when George’s father, played by extremely Jewish Jerry Stiller, creates a new holiday called “a Festivus for the rest of us” because he doesn’t celebrate Christmas. Further absurdity arises in an episode about how Elaine, played by Julia Louis-Dreyfus, who is literally a descendant of Alfred Dreyfus of the Dreyfus affair, has “shiksappeal.”

There's an explicitly Antisemitic group that meets near my house every Tuesday. It's called "crownheightsbitesback" They're active on Instagram and have been increasingly belligerent over the past few months. The deal in the odious antisemitic trope of the Jewish landlord, and trade in the dangerous lie that Jews living in Brooklyn (let alone a historically Jewish neighborhood like Crown Heights) are somehow engaged in a settler-colonialist project.
