🔹 Right to life
🔹 Freedom
🔹 Justice
Human rights belong to all of us. They are non-negotiable.
We all have a role to play in upholding them for every human being.

Human rights are essential to daily life — and women’s rights are at their core.
This #HumanRightsDay, we’re calling for stronger justice systems, stronger protections, and stronger will to turn commitments into real change.

Today marks the fourth anniversary of the arbitrary detention of the Kashmiri human rights defender Khurram Parvez. It is a shameful date, one that leaves a dark stain on India's human rights reputation. I call for his immediate release @IndiaUNGeneva

Ladakh is on fire. Indian police opened fire on unarmed protestors—4 dead, 70 injured. From Ladakh to Kashmir, the Modi-RSS regime’s only answer to dissent is bullets and blood. The occupation bleeds; the world watches. #LadakhBleeds #EndOccupation

This is not political. This is not anti-national.
This is not against any country, institution, or government.
This is only about my father’s life. His health. His right to be treated with dignity.
Is your conscience alive?
My father, Shabir Shah, has spent 38 years in prison. No conviction. No justice.
Today, he is gravely ill. He has been advised multiple surgeries. Yet there is no proper care, no access to medical records, and not even a single phone call in two years which is a right every prisoner is entitled to.
We, his family, are kept away. I have watched him suffer in silence, behind soundproof walls, iron grills, and broken microphones. We cannot even touch him.
I was misunderstood before. Speaking up as a daughter was seen as something else. It deeply affected my mother and elder sister.
But how long can one remain silent while watching their father like this?
This is a daughter’s plea for compassion, for justice, and for basic humanity.
If you still have a heart, please hear me.
If justice means anything, let it speak now. Not when it is too late.
Because if silence wins again, remember
You were told. You knew. And you chose to look away.
