@CBSNews Could be the Orange Toad just needs a quiet place for a nap. He’s planning to sit in the very back of the courtroom and quietly nod off as usual. After all, he wouldn’t know what they were talking about anyway once they got past “Good Morning.” and “If it please the court…” 😂

How can you say that Big Bird, Downton Abbey, and This Old House have destroyed our country??? They have, in fact, been most educational and entertaining. You must live in a cave or not understand the value of a differing views being healthy in a democratic society. Last I heard, we’re not an autocracy, much as the Orange Toad would like to think otherwise.

The Gulf of Mexico is a body of water that borders the lower portion of our southern United States- FL, AL, LA, TX, NM, and the country of Mexico. That’s on the east, north, and west. On the south you’ll find Central America and South America and the Gulf leads out into the Caribbean Ocean and the Atlantic Ocean.

Where is the Gulf of Mexico @CNN ? Reporting like this is why cnn has no ratings, respect or credibility. Whoever the writer or editor is should be terminated. The lack of respect for Trump and Republicans, shows that truth and respect for rule of law, “democracy” and administrations is subjective and apparently is only a national crisis and 5 alarm, hair on fire moment when it effects what democrats want

@Crypto_Alert24 @CNN First of all, their nickname is blasphemous and disgusting. Secondly, those whales are more precious than any oil in the Gulf (thought we had plenty already?) and should be protected at all costs! Hegseth and buds should go soak heads somewhere!

Calling them the ‘God Squad’ isn't just a nickname—it’s a literal description of the power they just exercised. Choosing short-term drilling over the permanent survival of a species (like the Rice’s whale) is a massive gamble with our ecosystem. Is the 'national security' trade-off really worth permanent extinction? 🐋📉

For Anita Dobson, life alongside Brian May has always existed at the intersection of two vastly different worlds. On one side, there is the chaos of global fame—stadium tours, roaring crowds, and the relentless demands of the music industry. On the other, there is a quieter, more deliberate universe shaped by science, reflection, and an almost philosophical approach to love. It is within this balance that their 26-year marriage has not only survived, but quietly thrived. According to Anita, Brian has always viewed love through a uniquely analytical lens. Unlike the stereotypical rock star narrative of excess and instability, his perspective is grounded in precision and intention. To him, love is not something left to chance—it is something maintained, protected, and constantly recalibrated, much like the celestial systems he has spent years studying. This mindset became especially evident during a difficult period in their marriage, when the pressures of touring and public life began to take their toll. In early 2026, Anita rediscovered a note Brian had written years earlier during one of those turbulent times. It wasn’t a grand romantic gesture or a poetic lyric destined for a song. Instead, it was something far more intimate—a concise, almost “scientific” promise of devotion. In just a few carefully chosen words, he reaffirmed his belief that love is the only true constant in life. That note, simple as it was, became a cornerstone in their relationship—a reminder that even in moments of uncertainty, their bond was something deliberately chosen and fiercely protected. Brian often compares marriage to gravity, a force that keeps everything from drifting apart. In the unpredictable orbit of fame, where many artists of the 1970s and 1980s lost themselves to excess and instability, he chose a different path. Rather than allowing success to pull him away from what mattered, he anchored himself in family life. For him, Anita was not just a partner, but a stabilizing force—a center of gravity that gave meaning to everything else. This philosophy extended into how he approached building a home. Anita describes their household as a kind of “protected ecosystem,” a space carefully shielded from the noise and intrusion of the outside world. While the music industry thrives on exposure and constant attention, Brian made a conscious effort to create boundaries. Their home was not an extension of his fame, but a sanctuary where real life could unfold without interference. Perhaps most telling is how Brian measures success. Despite earning a PhD in astrophysics and achieving global recognition as a musician, he has often remarked that raising a family is the only “PhD” that truly matters. It is a statement that reframes achievement entirely—not as accolades or titles, but as the ability to nurture, support, and sustain meaningful relationships over time. Anita’s reflections reveal a marriage built not on fleeting passion, but on enduring commitment. Their story challenges the assumption that life in the spotlight inevitably leads to instability. Instead, it shows that with intention, discipline, and a shared set of values, it is possible to create something lasting—even in the most unpredictable environments. In the end, what defines their relationship is not the fame that surrounds it, but the principles that sustain it. Love, in Brian May’s world, is not just an emotion—it is a force, constant and grounding, capable of holding everything together when the rest of life threatens to pull it apart. #BrianMay #AnitaDobson

Sen Markwayne Mullen is about as qualified for DHS as my 10 year old grandson, so why, why would you advance this prevaricating adolescent for consideration of a job in which he is going to be responsible for the lives of millions of people and the safety and security of our country??? Funding be dammed. Some things are more important- such as the right person in this job after what’s happened this past year. We do not need another Yes flunky for Trump!!!

Alexander the Great was a young Macedonian king who reshaped the ancient world before the age of thirty. Born in 356 BC in the kingdom of Macedon, he was tutored by the philosopher Aristotle, who filled his mind with ideas of science, politics, and ambition. When his father was assassinated, Alexander took the throne at just twenty years old and quickly crushed rebellions to secure his rule. He then launched a massive campaign against the powerful empire of Persia, defeating armies that vastly outnumbered his own. His victories at battles like Issus and Gaugamela made him one of history’s most brilliant military strategists. He marched through Egypt, where he was welcomed as a liberator and declared a divine ruler. He founded cities across his empire, many named Alexandria, spreading Greek culture wherever he went. His army pushed as far as India, reaching the edge of the known world before his exhausted troops demanded to return home. By the age of thirty-two, he ruled a vast empire stretching from Greece to South Asia. His sudden death in 323 BC left no clear heir, causing his empire to fracture among his generals. Despite his short life, his influence shaped language, trade, warfare, and culture for centuries. His conquests blended Eastern and Western traditions in a way that changed the ancient world forever. His campaigns led to the spread of Greek culture across three continents, accelerating trade, scientific exchange, and political change while creating a new blended civilization known as the Hellenistic world, whose influence can still be seen in art, architecture, language, and education today. #archaeohistories

BAPTIST IDOLATRY The largest Baptist church in Alabama has announced plans to build a 120-foot statue of President Trump on its campus as a "token of appreciation for what God has done for the United States under his leadership." Church leaders say the monument will overlook the campus in a pose that some observers noted bears a striking resemblance to the famous Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro. When asked about the similarity, one of the church board members clarified the difference: "That statue in Brazil is an idol, this is simply a respectful tribute to the greatest leader in all of world history, who just happens to have been divinely chosen." Plans reportedly include a viewing platform at the base of the statue, a gift shop selling commemorative hats and devotional coffee mugs, and nightly lighting so the statue can be seen from several counties away. The lead pastor emphasized that the project is not meant to replace worship to God but rather to "encourage gratitude towards God, and of course patriotism, and the occasional selfie." Construction is expected to begin once enough donations are collected, which organizers say should happen quickly since "patriotic generosity is practically a spiritual gift around here." Church leaders added that anyone comparing the monument to a golden calf is "missing the point entirely," noting that the statue will be made of reinforced concrete, not gold.
