Brett Smiley needs to apologize for landing us in this mess. He illegally cut the schools in his first budget. It violated state law. I and many others warned him the courts would strike it down, leaving us in a budget crisis. And they did. It's absurd fiscal mismanagement.

@SenLouDiPalma Lou I respectfully disagree. The state should pay the retirees what they were promised and got screwed out of for their pensions first before anything else gets added to the budget.
