Hey, listen, don't freak out about this Strait of Hormuz situation just yet. It's like that air pocket Rory Johnston described. The tankers that sailed out before the shutdown are still making their way across the ocean, so deliveries to Asia, Europe, and even the US around mid-April are buffered for now. Pumps aren't running dry overnight. We've been through these kinds of chokepoint dramas before. Markets get jumpy and prices spike, sure. But the world's energy setup is a huge, flexible machine. US shale keeps cranking, other producers can step up, reserves are there to tap, and reroutes or temporary deals tend to kick in when the pain hits. History shows these things often cool off faster than the panic headlines make it seem. It's serious geopolitical stuff with real consequences, no doubt. But panicking doesn't help anything.
