Not surprised to see him talk unrealistically, totally devoid of ground realities. Most Pakistanis are overly colored by religion, suffer from identity crisis- Arab descendants wannabes. There is no meeting ground until Pakistan revamps their education system and starts teaching true history and their identity. Even if they realise that and start now, rationale thinking people will only come up decades later. Till then we should chill and ignore. Some neighbors are best ignored, and whacked a bit when they step out of line.

The role of the common man in India is very different from the military dominated Pakistan political system. The common man in Pakistan as a country carved out on the basis of religion is increasingly susceptible to radicalisation. The jihadi groups in Pakistan obtain the support of the common man. No similarity with the Indian ethos. Friendship between the two peoples can’t be forged over the head of the government and the political system. Does Field Marshal Munir who emphasises the two nation theory and believes Hindus and Muslims are different peoples and can’t live together share the views expressed by some on our side?

These reasons dont convince. 4 days of conflict couldn’t have resulted in such important exercise, plus different set of people involved in it. Essentially who overcame immense obstacles, was a firm believer that the "thing" we blame is usually just a mask for the effort we didn't or couldn't put in.

Chiefs were brought down in warrant of precedence Service HQs were designated as “attached offices” to MoD in 1961, thereby taking away their powers and authority. Example of other attached offices are Archaeological Survey of India, Directorate General of Health Service, etc. As an eyewash, after the publication of the Arun Singh task force report, the MoD changed the term “attached offices” to “integrated HQs.” However, they continued to remain outside the structure of the MoD, integration being only in name Yehi theek kar le, wo hi kafi hai, coup is best suited for our neighbors.

Forget Udhayanidhi for a second. Did even one Hindu MLA stand up and object? Not one? Nearly 200 Hindu legislators sat there listening to ‘eradication of Sanatan’ speeches in silence. But silence from its own people is a far greater betrayal than open hostility.

Is this a quid pro quo? Does anyone now seriously believe that #bengalassemblypolls 2026 were free and fair? The country is entitled to ask.
