This sunset from my office at MCW was a fitting end to my last day seeing patients at MCW. So thankful for all of the patients and families who trusted me, and my clinical and research colleagues who helped me accomplish more than I imagined possible when I joined 19 years ago!

Today my youngest son (with a bit of my help) did a project to stain a red leather Eames Chair grey. After using $20 worth of leather color, it turned out pretty good. Always great bonding with kids through projects. It’s a good day.

Coronavirus is not a destiny. It’s a biological occurrence that can be controlled by our behavior, our actions (according to public health guidelines) & ultimately through science and biopharmaceutical industry. Wear a 😷, socially distance and practice caution. @Albrecht_Goes

Wearing a mask is a sign of strength, respect, and caring. Wear a mask, Save lives. It may be a neighbor, a stranger, a friend, a family member, or yourself. There is nothing brave or great about not wearing a mask. You just advertise your insecurities.

We are only 4% of the world population. But we have over 30% of COVID cases in the world. And 25% of COVID related deaths. Reflects an epic failure in preparedness and prevention. And a failure of basic governance.
