@JayaGup10 You might know about C3.ai from the billboards, but doesn’t seem to be helping performance. Clickup, salesforce/Mercedes, Airbnb, iphone, Vanta…I can quickly recall brands that use billboards which is something

@joshpuckett @JacobyBrandon @netspencer Love my endurance. Bought it as my first road bike, have done 10k miles on it & have no desire to upgrade. It’s the perfect level of starter bike that you’ll be happy with if you really get into it

My career really accelerated once I was in a stable long-term relationship. It gave me a level of support and calm that made it easier to put real focus into the work I loved.

This new law enforcement sobering center marks a fundamental change in San Francisco: If you do drugs on our streets, we will arrest you. And with this new resource, we will give you a real chance to enter recovery.
San Francisco Chronicle@sfchronicle

Mayor Daniel Lurie is hoping a new, coercive approach can help officers tackle open-air drug use in San Francisco while getting more people off the streets and connected to addiction treatment. sfchronicle.com/sf/article/dru…

Some pretty eye-opening data on the effect of AI coding. When Cursor added agentic coding in 2024, adopters produced 39% more code merges, with no sign of a decrease in quality (revert rates were the same, bugs dropped) and no sign that the scope of the work shrank. Big impact.

@_sonith If parents have high conscientiousness, you’re likely to follow suit however; a random heartbreak, coach who believes in you, teach who developed you, multiplicatively positive friend group, random speaker at a college event who makes an intro- these events strongly shape ya

@_sonith Assumes conscientiousness is a trait that’s controllable. I got deep into this a while back , tldr found that ~half of conscientiousness is inherited, other half is unique to you from random/unique life experiences plus random biological variation (see Minnesota twin studies)

If it’s scalable, it won’t work well for pipeline generation. I’m very bearish on the future of all these AI GTM tools that are trying to make everything “effortless and scalable” They are really just making everything ignorable.

So there’s a lot of angst on social media (esp LinkedIn) about CROs and VPs of Sales getting fired. But let give tell you a tip: maybe go SMB. What do I mean? I see so many of the top sales leaders that started SMB stay 6, 7, 8+ years at leading tech companies in VP and CRO level roles. Again and again and again. Why? You just get more at bats, more chances. If you sell $3k deals, to hit a $600k quota, that’s 200 deals. Per rep. If you manage even a tiny team, that still can be 1000s of deals a year. You get better — fast — if you care. 1000s deals is a lot. Compare that to coming in as a CRO at a solely enterprise play that’s still early. You might work on just a few deals really at a time, with long sales cycles. You might never get a chance to truly learn. And if even a few push, sales might even go down under your watch at first. SMB sales really can lead to longevity if you keep at it. You just get so, so many at bats. So quickly.
