@DanielShawAU @Dell Long gone are the days of good customer service, I’m afraid

Just wasted over an hour and a half trying to get warranty support from @Dell. Despite having next day business onsite global warranty, they have dumped me onto a 3rd party who says it will take at least a week to fix the power / charge issue. Thankfully I have a backup laptop but arranging next day warranty is almost impossible when you are traveling regionally. I could end up anywhere from South Dakota to Texas over the next two weeks. Seems this will be difficult to get fixed due despite me offering to travel to them to help get the parts and be in a city location for the tech the following business day. Their solution. “The parts warehouse is closed”. Call the 3rd party repairer. Nice work Dell in helping lifelong customers who rely on your products for critical work in remote areas.

Me and a friend went a bar in town circa 10 years ago, I just turned 21 and he was still 20. We went and asked for a pitcher. Bartender asked for our ID’s. I showed him mine and then my buddy with all the confidence in the world handed his over which clearly showed 20, the bartender laughed and then gave us the pitcher lol.
