@jacobmparis interesting, I assumed anthropic would capture less product marketshare and more devtool marketshare.

@neetcode1 I’m surprised there’s so much backlash around this, as the companies try to take the application layer (the only way to make margin, inference has low or even negative margin) and that’s where they can deliver the most unique value to the user Intelligence has been commoditized

Basically, if you're using claude in non-anthropic based tools, you no longer get massive subsidies. Likely consequences: - subset of people will switch to claude tools - even more people will switch to GPT models so they can keep using the tools of their choice Short term win for openai, but i doubt their gonna subsidize forever either
ClaudeDevs@ClaudeDevs

Starting June 15, paid Claude plans can claim a dedicated monthly credit for programmatic usage. The credit covers usage of: - Claude Agent SDK - claude -p - Claude Code GitHub Actions - Third-party apps built on the Agent SDK

@theo what about using json output format w/ interactive sessions? fwiw did this for a personal tool and it worked well (even w/ subagents and processes), just a lot of boilerplate. but it lets you keep claude max!

DFW is an abomination of an airport: - 8p on a Sunday, Precheck and Touchless ID are closed. No Clear - Floor and ceiling tile most recently refurbished by the Soviets ~1987 - Centrally planned bodegas don’t stock sparkling water - Concessions straight from a bad 1990s mall

@mwseibel Lawmaking that is in the grain of human nature (competition) but aligns capital allocation to useful things instead of burdens on society, roughly protects consumers, and orients policy to make private industry have better downstream effects through incentives

We are in a weird catch 22. Businesses are evil so we don’t want them to provide us with stuff. But there are lots of things government sucks at providing (housing for example). So what do we do - we are stuck.
