There is so much recent negativity about @airindia that I want to put this out. I have taken 3 flights on @airindia in the last three days. On Wednesday:Rome to Del On Thursday: Del to Bom On Friday: Bom to Del In every single case the flight was on time. The inflight service was warm & efficient. Luggage came relatively quickly (quickest in Del) The check in was entirely painless I don’t think frequent travellers care as much as others about airline food but if you think that’s important then I had a very good dinner on Rome to Del. On the international sector I flew one of the older Dreamliners & I am not one of those aeroplane nerds but I thought it was very comfortable. It’s second nature for many of us to bitch about @airindia but it’s one of only two international airlines I fly regularly. The other is @emirates which admittedly is far better ( & far more expensive) but it is the best airline in the world so it’s better than every other carrier anyway. The Tatas need to hold their nerve. There is a lot that is good about @airindia that rarely gets acknowledged @TataCompanies

Taste Atlas, what in the actual name of culinary heresy is this?! Three Indian dishes crack the top 50 best breakfasts in the world, and they’re Misal Pav at a suspiciously generous 18th, Paratha slumming it at 23rd, and Chole Bhature wheezing in at 32nd? I mean, come on! I respect the attempt at democracy in global taste buds, but this ranking feels like it was decided by a panel that’s never once woken up to the quiet poetry of a proper Bengali dawn. None of these heavyweights can hold a ladle, not even a teaspoon, to the luminous glory of Luchi with Shada Aloor Torkari or the transcendent Koraishutir Kochuri with Cholar Daal. None. Zip. Zero. My Bengali soul is personally offended on behalf of every mother who ever rolled out dough at 7 in the morning. Misal Pav? It’s a fiery, sprout-laden explosion from Maharashtra—spicy, tangy, pav soaked in that usal gravy like it’s trying to wake the dead. Fine for a chaotic Sunday brunch when you want your sinuses cleared or have stocked up on too many bottles of Aqua Ptychotis. Paratha? Fine but which paratha? The thick North Indian stuffed paratha that sits in your belly like a warm brick? Or the flaky, buttery, layered lachcha version that’s basically edible architecture? They can all be delicious, sure, but this is a vague entry. Almost like an all-encompassing tick mark in the India box. Chole Bhature? Those deep-fried maida balloons that puff up like edible clouds paired with chickpeas swimming in an indigestible masala is perhaps the best of the three entries. They’re crowd-pleasers, loud, bold, Instagram-ready. They shout. They conquer. They dominate the plate. But Bengali breakfast? It doesn’t need to shout. It whispers. It seduces. It wraps around your soul like a soft gamchha on a winter morning. Take Luchi with Shada Aloor Torkari. Maida dough rolled whisper-thin, dropped into hot oil, and blooming into a perfect, golden orb of puff. Crisp on the outside, feather-light and hollow inside, so delicate it almost feels like it might float away if you don’t pin it down with your fingers. And then the shada aloor torkari—white potato cubes, deliberately kept pale and gentle, no turmeric staining it yellow, no garam masala throwing a tantrum. Just simmered with a kiss of nigella seeds, green chillies, and maybe a hint of cumin. It’s humble. It’s comforting. It’s the culinary equivalent of a jadoo ki jhappi. One bite and you’re home. And then there’s Koraishutir Kochuri with Cholar Daal. This is the undisputed champion, the breakfast that deserves a throne, a crown, and its own national holiday. Kochuri—those little puffed breads stuffed with a fragrant mash of fresh green peas, green chillies, and just enough spice to make your nose tingle with joy. The peas burst with sweetness and earthiness inside that crisp, golden shell. And the cholar daal? Cooked to creamy perfection, lightly sweetened with a touch of sugar, tempered with hing, whole red chillies, and coconut slivers that add this subtle, nutty depth. It’s sweet-savory, silky, soul-stirring. Every bite is a love letter from Bengal’s kitchens. Balanced, nuanced, never overwhelming. Misal Pav might wake you up like a brass band; Paratha and Chole Bhature might fill you like a victory feast. But Luchi-Shada Aloor or Koraishutir Kochuri-Cholar Daal? They nourish. They linger. They remind you that true greatness in food isn’t measured by how loudly it shouts on a global list. It’s measured by how deeply it warms to your heart.

Yesterday, at the @Careers360 counselling event, I met a girl student. She is very good. A 97 percentiler. Likely to get into a good college in a good branch too. But she has restrictions. Parents won’t let her study outside of Delhi. She can’t stay in a hostel too. IGTU is a great option, but the restrictions will weigh down on her choices and learning too. She had tears in her eyes as she narrated her limitations and restrictions. She wanted to study, grow and fly. She is meritorious too. While most of India is obsessed about how one religion mistreats women, we must look within every religion and society on how we shackle women!! It was the same day when India clubbed Women’s reservation bill to the delimitation bill.

The Silent Scream: How One Liquidity Sweep Ruined Families Today. 🩸 Aaj subah 11:25 AM. Sensex 71,545 par khoon se laal tha. Ek retail Option Seller ne screen dekhi, aur poore confidence ke sath 71800 CE ko ₹101 par short kar diya. Usne socha: "Market itna weak hai, Sensex 71,800 kaise cross karega? Yeh ₹100 ka premium to meri jeb mein aayega." Usne leverage ka sahara liya. Margin kam karne ke liye door ki Puts buy ki, aur apni poori zindagi ki savings—wo paisa jo usne bachhon ki padhai aur ek naye ghar ke liye rakha tha—is ek 'safe' trade mein laga diya. Aur phir... Smart Money ka khel shuru hua. The Brutal Liquidity Sweep. Dheere-dheere market ne ghoomna shuru kiya: 🕒 1:00 PM - Call ka price ₹363: Trader ka dil ghabraya, par ego ne kaha, "Hold karo, abhi market niche aayega." 🕒 1:25 PM - Price ₹729: Haath kaanpne lage. Screen par MTM (P&L) heavily red hone laga. Dimaag mein aawaz aayi, "Bhagwan bas ek choti dip de do, cost-to-cost par nikal jaunga." 🕒 2:10 PM - Price ₹1190: Broker ke system se margin calls aane shuru. "You are short on funds." 🕒 3:15 PM - Sensex ne 73,568 hit kiya! Aur wo 71800 CE jise usne ₹101 par short kiya tha... wo ₹1607 par trade kar raha tha. ₹101 se ₹1607. Ek 1500% ka violent, aag laga dene wala move! Zara maths samajhiye. Agar kisi ne bina Stop-Loss ke sirf 1000 quantity (Sensex Options) short ki thi: Aane wala tha (Premium Collected): ₹1 Lakh. Market ne chheen liya (Total Loss): ₹15 Lakhs! Yeh sirf numbers nahi hain bhai. Jab screen par achanak laakhon ka loss flash karta hai na, toh saans atak jati hai. Kamre mein ek aisi chuppi (silence) chha jati hai jo seedha dil ko cheer deti hai. Gale mein aansu atak jate hain par aawaz nahi nikalti. Wo sirf aur sirf retail ke stop-losses aur margin ko hunt karne aate hain. Jo trader ego mein aakar market se ladta hai, wo zinda dafan ho jata hai. Stop-Loss aapka ego hurt kar sakta hai, ek din ka P&L kharab kar sakta hai... lekin dhyan se sunna: Stop-Loss aapki family ko sadak par aane se bachata hai. ₹100 ki cheez ko ₹150 par khushi-khushi kaatna seekho. Ek bada move, ek single liquidity sweep aayega, aur market usko ₹1600 banakar aapki tabahi ka bill aapke haath mein thama dega. Aaj jin bhi dosto ne apna account blow up kiya hai, dil se dua hai ki bhagwan unhe himmat de. Trading ek business hai, isko jua (gambling) mat banao. Protect your capital as if your life depends on it... because honestly, it does. I have seen this screenshot in X today , don't know if its true but it is possible ❤️ Drop a Heart if you promise to NEVER trade options without a strict Stop-Loss. 🔁 Repost this to save a fellow trader's life and capital today. Let this be a wake-up call!
