Would you rather spend $200 billion to bomb Iran or…? A: give every teacher in America a $62,500 bonus B: provide downpayment assistance for 20 million young families C: build 1,300 rural hospitals

Jon, your schtick is overwhelmingly left-skewed satire—pounding conservatives while going soft on the left. Fact-checkers called you out dozens of times for errors, selective editing, and exaggerations. YOU eroded trust in actual news, turned comedy into propaganda for young viewers, and practiced the exact smug, one-sided hackery you mock. Your podcast is a preachy, unfunny delivery system for hypocritical progressive talking points.

Everyone wants me to rip on TrumpRx. Reality is, it’s saving patients money on IVF and a few other drugs. A lot of money. IMO, anything that saves patients money is a win. And they truly do have some great people that are making smart moves. You just don’t know their names. Chris Klomp. Mark Atalla, Abe Sutton and so many more. When you talk to them, and see the work they put in, it’s obvious they are focused on trying to do the right thing for patients. Don’t forget they didn’t give the insurance industry a price increase they wanted, and those stock prices got crushed. TrumpRx is just getting started. @costplusdrugs is just getting started.

Americans are furious about drug prices. The Trump administration’s answer? A new website. But more than a month after its launch, the site, TrumpRx.gov, remains small — offering discounts on just 54 prescription drugs. nbcnews.com/health/health-…

Grok 4.20 Beta dropped insane benchmark numbers: lowest hallucination rate ever recorded at 22%, number 1 in following instructions at 83%, and #2 in agentic tool use at 97%. This is a 500B model that was specifically built to tell the truth first, and it’s still crushing the things that actually matter most. Source: @XFreeze

The media is running a story today about how a Cybertruck “allegedly” crashed on a Texas highway. Spoiler alert, the crash happened while the human driver was in control. The law firm, which is seeking $1 million, says that last summer Justine Saint Amour was driving her Cybertruck with Autopilot engaged. There’s just one problem — Autopilot is a legacy lane keeping system that never shipped on Cybertruck. The driver then admits that before the crash they disengaged the system and started driving manually. Indeed, the video shows the truck starting to turn before the driver disengaged and drove into the wall. Tesla hasn’t officially responded to the lawsuit yet, but available telemetry indicates the driver probably wasn’t paying attention, got startled, and crashed. There doesn’t seem to be any attempt to steer back towards the on-ramp in the video, rather you see the trajectory change from turning with the ramp to driving straight into it. When you crash your car, people tend to put blame on anyone but themselves. A high profile company like Tesla, with a CEO who is the wealthiest man on Earth? Yeah, they kinds of BS lawsuits happen often. Let’s wait for more data and discovery to take place, but based on the evidence i’m seeing so far that doesn’t look like something FSD — even an older V13 — would do.

Just got word from inside a major cloud provider 20% of their entire engineering org got PIP notifications this morning That's 2,847 engineers who walked into work today thinking they were safe Manager in Seattle told me the distribution happened at exactly 9:15 AM PST. Every affected engineer got the same templated Slack message: "Please join me for a brief 1:1 at 10 AM regarding your performance development plan" The brutal part: HR already scheduled the termination meetings. February 18th. Exactly 30 days out. Back-to-back 15-minute slots from 9 AM to 6 PM across four conference rooms. Managers got the final termination list yesterday. The PIPs are pure theater. One L5 with 6 years tenure found out his entire team of 11 is on the list. His manager couldn't look him in the eye during the meeting. Another engineer in their infrastructure org counted the calendar invites. 347 "performance review follow-ups" scheduled for the same day next month. The sick twist: they're calling it a "performance calibration initiative" in the all-hands But the leaked headcount projections show they're targeting 67% workforce reduction by end of Q1 Engineering VPs are telling their reports this is about "raising the bar" and "ensuring AI readiness" Reality: they've been testing Claude-3.5 + offshore contractors for 8 weeks. Same output. 23% of the cost. One senior architect with 12 years there just realized he spent the last 6 months documenting his entire knowledge base into their new "AI assistant training program" He literally fed his institutional knowledge into the system that's replacing him The 30-day countdown just started If you're still there... your knowledge extraction is probably already complete

Starting today, we are going to have an important fight on the Senate floor. Polling shows broad support for all of the issues included in the SAVE America Act. But never underestimate Democrats’ ability to get on the wrong side of what the American people want.
