@starboydiablo @hayasaka_aryan Easy way out blah blah blah look he's evil, execute him. I don't give a shit what is better or worse for him. It isn't about him anymore, it's about society and whether we live in a society that lets killers like this live

@FTNegligence @sentdefender The US Navy is a nation destroyer and enemy of the American people. The only area of actual responsibility is US territory. They fight for politicians and steal taxpayers money.

U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) has announced that the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier, USS George H.W. Bush (CVN-77), along with her Carrier Strike Group which all made the decision to sail around Africa from the Eastern Atlantic to avoid the Red Sea, has arrived in the Indian Ocean and is now operating within U.S. 5th Fleet Area-of-Responsibility.

Peter Parker spent 4 years hiding from everyone. Ned Leeds found him anyway👀 — Ned doesn't remember Peter Parker. The spell wiped him completely. — But Ned being Ned the same kid who hacked a Damage Control drone just by looking at it — built something called the Spidey Tracker. — We saw it at CinemaCon. An entire corkboard. Photos. Sighting reports. Data points. Two prime suspects Flash Thompson and Mr Harrington. — He is wrong about both of them. — But nobody is asking the real question why does Ned care this much? — He told the party Spider-Man saved him and his friends in high school. Multiple times. He wants to find him — not to expose him. Just to say thank you. — That level of loyalty doesn't come from a stranger saving you once — That comes from someone who felt genuinely looked after. Specifically. Personally. — Because he was. — When Ned's tracker gets good enough — he starts noticing patterns. — Spider-Man appears in his neighbourhood more than anywhere else in New York. — Spider-Man reacts to things only someone who knows Ned would know. — Ned can't remember Peter Parker's face. — But he starts to remember the feeling of being known. — And then one night Spider-Man hesitates. Just for a second. When Ned says something only Peter would recognise. — Ned doesn't need the tracker anymore. — He just needs to ask one question. — "Do you know me?" — The silence that follows is the answer. — The most emotional scene in Brand New Day might not be Peter seeing MJ with someone else. — It might be Ned figuring out the truth before Peter ever gets the chance to tell him. — Because that's who Ned Leeds always was. — The guy who was smarter than anyone gave him credit for.

@star_boy_80 Zuko was a powerful bender but he was only so focused on becoming skillful because of his conflict with his family. He cares about being a good leader for his nation, not being a good bender. It was forced on him. Wouldn't doubt he'd get rusty without needing to bend by necessity

@ArmedJ0y After Week 2, there are literally only two places it could be on the surface of the Earth. Why would you go to some other random-ass place, instead of one of the places it could actually be? Worst case, you're wrong. Best case, you're right on top of it

@webdevMason Look that little toy isn't going to save anything or help anyone If your priorities mean you can't leave the house without your kids then that's great. Good for you. But if someone wants to hurt you you're going to have to suck it up I guess.

At this point my takeaway is that a lot of guys genuinely don't know why a mom with young kids might not take a weekend to train to carry, get to the range, and then add the necessary steps to her getting-out-of-the-house and returning-home routines

@ScottApogee This is really where AI music will step in. If you have any idea of what you want it will get you there! I'm horrible at big picture arranging, but great with melodies. Having it fill in the gaps and translate my ideas to other instruments has been a lot of fun.

We licensed Don't Fear the Reaper to use in Prey for $10k back in 2006. Nowadays that same song would cost $150k. We tried to license songs for recent games in the past 2-4 years and the prices are insane now, so we had to pass. These music license companies seem to think all game studios have Hollywood film sized budgets.

This alien abduction sequence from Prey is burned into my brain and mainly because it’s one of the best uses of licensed music in this format ever

@shadydoorags She literally wouldn't have reached the level she did without the work and determination of training, she would have been stuck with uncontrollable raw power. What Paku said is right. Raw power is useless without training.

Someone once said that Katara is a prodigy but the writers were scared to call her one and I've believed this claim ever since. The girl's bending prowess is a case where the story tells something different than it is showing. We are shown multiple times in Book Water that Katara was born with natural raw power in her bending, hinting at her potential to become a great master. Her only weakness was that she required a master to demonstrate the techniques to her. Without one, she was considered a slow learner. However, even though that's made clear, Pakku doesn't give credit to her talent. He instead says her quick mastery of the element is due to her hard work and determination, because that's the narrative we're supposed to believe, even though Zuko, whose been firebending for years with the best teachers and has always struggled with his element, is still learning advanced techniques from a master at the start of the show and is shown to be on par, if not worse than Katara by the end of the first season. Don't get it twisted, I'm not saying Katara didn't work hard, but when you compare her to prodigies like Azula and Aang, and then do the same with non-talented hard workers like Zuko, she fits way more snuggly with the former than the latter.

Here are two of the most ridiculous military uniform decisions of the past half-century: 1. Plopping a stupid beret on the head of every Soldier regardless of job or duty station 2. Telling sailors to dress up in camouflage even if they spend all their time in a destroyer's engine room.
