Actually, my Pulitzers were not for sports reporting. My first was for weather coverage by a sports journalist. My 2nd was for my coverage of the Titan submersible and my 3rd was for my coverage of avian and ornithological creatures.

Here’s an idea: build a second Rikers. If the jails are overcrowded, you build more jails, you don’t let career criminals out on the street. Or you’ll get more innocent New Yorkers killed, like Richard Williams, who you apparently failed to keep in your thoughts.

I am deeply troubled to learn that a person in custody died on Rikers Island this morning. My thoughts are with their loved ones, who are now facing an unimaginable loss. Transparency and accountability are essential, and the Department of Correction is conducting an investigation. While we do not yet know the cause of death, too many have died on Rikers Island for far too long. Rikers must close, and we will pursue every avenue to do so as quickly as possible.

The local NBC / Channel 4 news just did a story on my boss meeting with @NYCMayor today and my name was mentioned about 4 times in the 2:30 minute piece! And a bunch of local leftist losers are upset that a cop let a driver off the hook yesterday because he was listening to my show. This has become daily now. These are very sick people. Very sick! Thank you President Trump for helping families of faith to be able to foster children again! President Trump just did away with a Biden-era rule that required foster parents to prove they would support a gender transition or the LGBTQ identity of foster children.
