Hi. Over the last 24 hours we had three separate small incidents that affected Codex reliability. Those are three too many and we are taking active steps for them to not reproduce. I have reset usage limits for Codex across all paid plans. May the tokens flow again.

Cloudflare has acquired Vite / VoidZero Void is vite's fullstack Intertia-like framework. This gives Cloudflare control over the entire stack. They have all the primitives from frontend/backend framework, linting, testing, formatting, JS runtime, db, kv, inference, blob storage, access, etc... smart move. A tidy package they can hand to an LLM to make a site.

@samjulien Re UI/UX, the UX of the app itself, or how good it does at building UI/UX? Claude always feels superior to me at that.

Really did not have Codex winning me over on my bingo card after being so Claude Code-pilled. I desperately need Anthropic to catch up on the UI/UX front. Codex feels like a dream now.

@michael_waples @WCNegentropy @0xdippo @thsottiaux They never said they were resetting on Thursday instead of Friday. They simply stated that they were resetting preemptively to fix their error. I assume this would be in addition to the usual reset.

@rashadeeez @WCNegentropy @0xdippo @thsottiaux Is it so hard to understand ? It's a weekly limit that is reset. If you have decided you will use your tokens near the end of the week and not space them out evenly every day or even burn through them in a couple of days, then you are worse off with a reset.

@michael_waples @thsottiaux This makes no sense. All it does is give you more credits. This doesn’t negatively impact anyone in any way.

@thsottiaux This is not fair. I hadn't been on for a couple of days very much and I still had 85% left. I budget about 14% a day. So again many people are worse off with a reset.

@theo probably most of it. i often see reasoning loops, where i come back to my computer 30 mins later, and it’s still reasoning in circles. monthly bills anywhere from $5k-$10k when that happens.

I wonder how much of Anthropic’s revenue comes from their models costing 4x more for real work due to massive token inefficiency

It took me like 2 months, but I've grown to love gpt-5.5. You have to prompt entirely different and put some time into your agents[.]md. Now that I'm over the hump, I can't really use any other model for code.
