Ok, let’s follow this logic. AFAIK, there are 15k (maybe 15%?) nodes that support BIP 110. I have no idea how much those nodes are paying in transaction fees. Do you know? Let’s assume it’s perfectly correlated (it’s probably much lower…). That leaves 85% of the rest of the network not supporting it. So why would they chase 15% vs 85%? Remember, you can only mine on one chain at a time.

Blocks that are compatable to the 15%, are also compatable with the 85%? So you dont need to chase 15% or 85%. As a miner, you can make sure you get paid by going for 100%

@ts_hodl @jabulanijakes What are you on about? Miners dont get to decide policy. Nodes do. Miners will always do what gets them paid. Same as always. No one is running a URSF, so there likely wont be a fork.

@jabulanijakes If the “nodes do the rest” and fork off without enough hash power, it may take months before they reach the next difficulty adjustment, assuming that little bit of hash power doesn’t defect before then.

MASF obviously failed, so why not just do the UASF now? Why wait?

Working a minimum wage job is for high school kids and those trying to supplement their income. These jobs were never meant to support a family.

The federal minimum wage is sitting at $7.25/hour while the ultra rich get richer. That’s why I’m pushing to raise the minimum wage to $20/hour pegged to inflation. We need to give America a raise.
