Three races. Three different circuits. What have they really revealed about Ferrari? 🤔
Barcelona showed progress, Austria exposed weaknesses, and Silverstone delivered victory. Now Spa-Francorchamps will reveal whether the SF-26 is truly back in the fight with Mercedes 🏎
🚨 | Fred Vasseur: "Clearly, we have had an engine deficit since the start of the season."
"We knew it and we know it. Even with ADUO, we cannot imagine having a magic wand and solving everything overnight."
@SiddharthSwai18@VahanWarta@KiaInd You cannot say ev6 is a failed product as it was supposed to be a limited sales model since it was a cbu and not a mass market product..
@VahanWarta@KiaInd They had hyundai as their godfather. Didn't try anything random, instead went directly into the csuv segment & took the quality a notch above the then creta, launched the carens & sonet in hot selling segments, they were hit too. But took a new path with ev6 syros & flopped bad.
In August 2019, @KiaInd entered India with just one product.
Less than 7 years later... Kia has crossed 15 Lakh+ cumulative sales in India.
Many thought it would be another new entrant trying its luck in a fiercely competitive market.
The journey so far:
✅ Seltos – 6.45 Lakh
✅ Sonet – 5.47 Lakh
✅ Carens – 2.99 Lakh
✅ Syros – 30,934
✅ Carnival – 17,054
✅ EV6 – 1,900
✅ EV9 – 20
📊 Total: 15.42 Lakh Units
What's remarkable is that Kia didn't rely on budget hatchbacks or entry-level sedans.
Instead, it built its India story around:
🔹 Seltos for aspiration
🔹 Sonet for volume
🔹 Carens for families
Together, these three nameplates account for nearly 97% of Kia India's lifetime sales.
👉From a newcomer in 2019 to one of India's largest car brands in 2026, that's a growth story few would have predicted.

Thoughts?
@volklub I feel Hyundai needs to start giving 4-zone climate control 2 front and 2-rear as their 2nd rows airvents throw very less air and doesn't cool unless the two from centre console air vents are shut.. Having this issue with my alcazar f/l..
If this area clicks customer’s heart, you are winning the game already.
No wonder Koreans have this game very strong. Aesthetically pleasing steering, easy to operate buttons & touch controls with lettering. Dashboard design, glass area and UI fonts are well thought.
@SomChaterji I own an alcazar turbo, I am having an issue with the second row ac throwing less air and not cooling enough, have you noticed the same issue?
The car I drive daily should be comfortable above all. Alcazar fits the bill. Efficiency is now 9.9 kmpl which I am happy with. Rear seat comes with a table, extension, blinds etc. Performance is ample and it's the easiest three row SUV to live with. Ride is slightly firm at low speeds and the DCT has some lag but else I probably won't take any other three row SUV to drive myself daily.
Its not about variants it models that Hyundai are lacking like something that would actually be able to compete with a lifestyle or niche model like the thar/thar roxx or a big family suv like xuv 7X0 or the Evs from tata and mahindra. They need something XUV 7X0 segment, I feel the alcazar is big enough to compete with the mahindra in 7-seater /5+2 seater segment.. They need some really niche product like the tata curvv also just to divert customers attention away from tata..
@1503Asim@HyundaiIndia Yes, it is all about the target audience. Indian brands make fast decision, launch variants in budget quickly, provide features what customers look for.
Global brands are struggling to catch up in this approach and they lack MACHO looking cars under 25L
Hyundai Motor India sold 47,837 units domestically in May 2026, registering 9.1% YoY growth.
✅ Total sales, including exports, stood at 61,137 units, up 4.1% YoY.
✅ Exports contributed 13,300 units during the month.
