An intoxicated man rammed his Ford Mustang through a gate at Daytona Beach International Airport on Wednesday, driving onto a taxiway and nearly crashing into an Embry-Riddle plane that was taxiing. The driver, Bryan J. Parker, 58, of Holly Hill, indicated he was intoxicated on alcohol and drugs and couldn't remember what led to the incident that began about 4:25 p.m. when he crashed into the gate and drove toward the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University area of the airport. The Volusia Sheriff's Office Domestic Security Unit and the FBI attended the scene and arrested the man who faces multiple charges.
