@SenCortezMasto Senator, instead of passport, propose that drivers license over time (4 years), or Real ID should have legal status...better system!

I just heard from a Nevadan who told me that because of the SAVE America Act, she plans to spend over $165 to apply for a passport just to be able to vote. Call your Senators and tell them to reject this voter suppression legislation: (202) 224-3121

When 3.5% of a population actively participates in sustained, peaceful protest, it can topple authoritarian regimes — like the one currently in the Oval Office. We need 12 million people to show up on March 28 to get to 3.5%. Will you be one of them? Find out how at nokings.org

@nettermike Agree with you...please get elected and reduce many more taxes in California....5% max income tax 0.25% property tax on all new home purchases

California Democrats have cooked up a new “Property Transfer Tax” that would charge homeowners 5-6% on every home sale — based on the sale price, not your equity. That means if your home is worth $700,000 to $1 million — which is common in California — you could get hit with a tax bill of $42,000 to $60,000 just for selling your home! That’s right: after years of paying your mortgage, property taxes, insurance, and upkeep, Sacramento politicians want to grab tens of thousands more when you sell.

@RepMGS So, congresswoman, present your solution and agree that over time (4 years) a legal status on your driver livcense or Real ID would be fine.

@DrOzCMS Thanks Dr Oz...Please look for more fraud in the health system...there is plenty. Also, make rules that all costs paid by cms are visible to the patients before treatment.

Hospice fraud isn’t just about stealing your tax dollars – in some cases it’s about stealing your life. Federal and state authorities raided this illegal hospice ring in southern California earlier this month, but there are plenty more like it. We won’t rest until seniors and taxpayers are safe.

The SAVE America Act isn’t about voter fraud In 64 election lawsuits about the 2020 election, NO judge found evidence of widespread fraud The Heritage Foundation found just 77 cases of noncitizens voting in 25 YEARS This is about voter suppression @SenAmyKlobuchar

@SenGaryPeters Senator, you have no evidence/data for the claim you are making that seniors, married women, rural area residents will have hard time voting. A better solution would be to phase in (over 4 years) a national requirement to have legal status on your drivers license...

I voted NO because the SAVE Act would make it harder for law-abiding American citizens to vote, especially married women, seniors, and Americans in rural areas. We need to make sure our elections are safe and secure. That doesn’t mean we should prevent Americans from exercising their Constitutional right to vote.

@anyasharma1122 @JoshuaSchriver For better governance, citizens must be fair, informed, and choose well. We need better systems of governance where citizens have more power on taxation, expenditures, safety & security, other critical issues

Michigan has 250,000 unemployed Americans and 400,000+ foreign workers. Annually, 12,000 STEM college graduates in Michigan cannot find STEM jobs. 75,000 foreigners (H-1B visa holders) have those STEM jobs in Michigan. Michigan jobs must go to Michigan workers FIRST.

The SAVE America Act could stop millions of eligible Americans from voting—including married women whose names have changed, veterans, and seniors. This isn’t election security. It’s Donald Trump dismantling the right to vote.

The SAVE Act is the largest assault on voting rights in recent history. This bill will disenfranchise millions of voters including women who changed their name after marriage, students who moved out for college, or folks living with mobility issues. Our Senators must vote NO.

@SenMarkKelly IT IS TIME TO HAVE LEGAL STATUS ON "DRIVER LICENSES", Senator! If you had not imported illegals in 2-25M range, this would not be a problem. Deport them immediately including their recently born kids.

The SAVE America Act doesn’t “Save” America. And this isn’t about voter ID. This bill requires everyone to re-register to vote in person and your driver’s license, REAL ID, or military ID aren’t even good enough. Imagine all of our seniors who don’t have valid passports and haven’t seen their birth certificates in decades? What about them? How hard will it be for them to register? And how do they get a passport if they can’t find their birth certificates? And what about the cost? If this becomes law, it will disenfranchise many Americans.

@realSonjaShaw @nickshirleyy These schools should be sold/privatized, all responsible officials put in jail for 25 years, and heavily fined - $200K per incident. Now we have third world country practices done here.

Rather than saving America from being dragged into a forever war, Senate Republicans would rather focus on their so-called SAVE America Act. Here's how dangerous this voter suppression bill would be for your right to vote:

Most Californians have no idea this happened👇🏼 California Senate Bill 145, authored by Scott Wiener and passed by Gavin Newsom, lets judges skip sex-offender registration for some cases involving minors ages 14–17 if the age gap is under 10 years. That means a 23-year-old with a 14-year-old may never have to register as a sex offender. This law is already in effect, and most Californians don’t even know.

Today the City of El Cajon sent a formal letter to California Attorney General Rob Bonta demanding answers. The question is simple: How can California's sanctuary policies be legal when federal law makes it a felony to encourage or induce someone to reside in the United States unlawfully? SB 54 and related state laws block local police from cooperating with federal immigration authorities. They extend government benefits regardless of legal status. They create economic incentives for people to stay in California without fear of deportation. El Cajon's City Council passed a resolution in February 2025 declaring the City's intent to comply with federal immigration law to the fullest extent. Now we're asking the Attorney General to explain how the State's position squares with federal criminal law. We've requested a written response by April 22. Our residents deserve to know whether Sacramento is putting politics above the law. We intend to find out.

This is a severely underestimated fulcrum point in American history. During the nineties there was a great societal upheaval over mass migration. California voters, in the face of an onslaught of media demonization, acted to save their state by passing Prop 187 to end all public benefits for illegals. It was one of the most potent examples of popular democracy defeating entrenched corruption. It captivated the attention of the entire nation. Millions and millions of Californians voted to recapture their destiny. The proposition passed in a landslide. It was enjoined by a District Court judge IMMEDIATELY and remained enjoined permanently. Illegals continued flooding the state, consuming benefits, a Democrat (Gray Davis) won the next election and entered into a court settlement to halt the law forever.
bumbadum@bumbadum14

Your reminder that 60% of Californians voted to strip illegals of taxpayer funded programs and a judge said no.

We just passed a bill to stamp out California's massive community college fraud. Over a third of applications in our state, 1.2 million in all, were fakes used for financial aid fraud. The No Aid for Ghost Students Act passed today in an overwhelming bipartisan committee vote.
