Every time I tell myself: “I’m sending 50 LinkedIn DMs this week” I end up with more $$ (a lot more) Funny how that works lol It’s not complicated

2016: spent all my time partying and was completely directionless 2017: i was DJing shows on weekends to pay rent 2018: i got an advanced marketing diploma (still directionless) 2019: i landed at a government marketing placement for a year 2020: i got my first big-boy marketing job at a health tech company in the middle of COVID. 2021: i started day trading options. i made crazy money... then lost it all. 2022: i joined a copywriting community. from there: > that community connected me to a cold email operator looking for a copywriter and an inbox manager. > he paid me $1,000 USD a month and i thought it was the best deal i'd ever gotten. > four months in i left and started my own. fast forward today, my agency has: - booked over 3,000+ meetings for our clients - gone from 1→ 5 FT employees - scaled to a 7-figure run-rate never regret your era of chaos. mine paid for everything that came next.

How do I book more meeting via outreach? A/B test selling the meeting vs the engagement. How? Here's one way to do it: 1. Turn your offer into a free DIY product 2. Lead with the outcome of someone joining a meeting 3. Book them in and walk them through it 4. They'll see how much work it is 5. You naturally shift the environment to DFY 6. Send a scope draft 7. Book a review call for ~2-3 days out 8. Now they're in your sales process Simplicity always wins. Funding example: ------------------- Selling DFY: {{firstName}}, We can approve you for a 300K LOC in less than two days - especially if you haven't filed a BK in the last 7 years. Interest is sub 8 percent with zero fees - these specialty lenders usually disappear during the summer so speed is important. Are you available on Monday between 8am-1pm ET? Regards, {{accountSignature}} [Entity] ------------------- Selling DIY: {{firstName}}, We have a Lender Fit Map you can fill out in under 4 minutes - it'll show you which lenders are most likely to fit {{company_name}} for a 300K LOC. It gives you the basic qualification points and email contacts so you can reach out directly yourself. A few sub-8 percent, zero-fee options, but they're usually OOO during the summer so speed is important. I can walk you through it. Are you available on Monday between 8am-1pm ET? Regards, {{accountSignature}} [Entity] ------------------- Send more, test more, sell more.

just booked 50 sales calls in the last 2 weeks from a single cold email script i wrote in about 90 seconds 3 lines my closers calendar is completely stacked and the script wont stop booking calls youre never gonna succeed in cold email until you understand this: the prospect grades the offer in the email in about 2 seconds and decides if the risk is low enough to type 3 letters back if the offer is genuinely risk-free, the email works in 3 lines if the offer is average, the best copywriter alive cant save you every "better cold email" course on this app is teaching you to wrap an average offer in nicer prose it doesnt matter the prospect can smell an average offer through any volume of perfection the script ive been running this month subject: hi {{firstname}} "{{firstname}}, if my team could deliver 10-20 qualified calls for you every month on a performance model, would you be interested? best james ps - we work with 30+ marketing agencies, booking 12-17 calls every month on average. we have the correct infra, scripts and leads, to copy and paste into your outreach system." thats the whole email the offer line does the most work it leaves a busy agency owner with nothing to push back on he cant say too expensive - no price stated he cant say ive tried that - performance means he hasnt tried zero-risk he cant say maybe later - the only ask is one word the PS does the proof. one specific awkward number "12-17 calls/month across 30+ agencies" is harder to fabricate than a generic "we get results" line, so his brain files it as real before he consciously evaluates it heres the catch nobody screenshotting this is going to like the script alone does almost nothing it only works at the volume im running it at sending 50 of these tomorrow morning will book you zero calls and convince you "scripts dont matter" sending 5,000 a day for 14 days through warmed infrastructure books 50 the script is the easy half of the equation the volume is the half thats stopping you the calendar belongs to whoever can run both

More reminder emails will NOT fix your show-up rate. Here are the 10 things that actually will: Every team I talk to with sub-75% show-up rates is doing the same thing. Calendly invite + two templated reminders + hope. When the day comes, HALD the booked calls evaporate. The problem is in the sequence between booking and the call. I put the exact 10-step playbook we run for our clients into a guide. We have booked 27,000 sales meetings across 120 industries over 6 years, with some clients booking 200+ meetings a month from cold email alone. Implement these incrementally. Step 1 first, check, then step 2, then step 3. The goal is the fewest steps that fix your rate. What is inside: 1) The 4-email sequence with templates (positioning, social proof, prep, link) 2) The 3-text SMS layer with exact scripts and timing rules 3) The setter call playbook plus voicemail and SMS scripts 4) The personalized day-before email from your main inbox 5) The 30-second iPhone call move that recovers more meetings than the entire automated sequence combined 6) The variable nobody talks about that beats every tactic in this playbook Want access? • Comment "SHOWUP" • Follow me And I'll DM it asap

Most B2B founders are trying to extinguish a house fire with a spoon. “37 personalized cold emails today 🤓” Meanwhile: • no pipeline • no booked calls • no consistent outreach Volume matters more than people want to admit.

Referrals are great. Until they're not. The businesses winning right now have one thing you don't a system that creates conversations on demand. That's the whole game.

Things you probably should do more of in 2026: > Charging more > Grabbing coffees for all your boys the morning after you go out drinking and not asking them to pay you back > Smiling more at Starbucks baristas > Telling your parents you're grateful af for them because you probably grew up more privileged than you think > Covering the dinner tab for your girlfriend and all her friends by calling the restaurant ahead of time and getting them to say "this evening has been covered by Mr. Bryden" and then responding to her text about it with a James Bond GIF (anecdotal evidence) > Not telling people anything about how your business is doing and always responding with "doing my best" and a smile no matter what > Charging more

This was the tightest deadline I've ever worked against... A YC-backed SaaS needed 100+ leads before their raise, and they had 14 days to book them. Most agencies would have quoted 6 weeks just to warm up the domains. We booked 88 demos plus 42 direct signups in 2 weeks flat. I recorded a video breaking down the FULL 4-step system we used. Inside: 1. How we built a 30,000-contact list in a K-12 niche Apollo couldn't touch 2. The infrastructure for sending 5-6,000 emails/day with zero warmup (140 domains, 1:1 backup, Google plus Outlook) 3. The 5-variant testing framework that found a winning message in 4 to 5 days 4. Our 3 angle tests across AI positioning, CTA variants, plus YC credibility placement 5. The sales flexibility play that added 42 direct signups on top of 88 booked meetings Want the full playbook? • Comment "SPRINT" • Follow me (so I can DM you) I'll send the link ASAP

showed an agency owner the script we used to add $8K MRR to our clients biz last week he read it twice "this doesnt even say what you do" yeah thats the point - 23,000 cold emails sent - 75 interested replies - 2 retainers closed at $4K each the script was 4 lines and NEVER named the service heres how its structured: line 1: a question that spikes a specific pain in their niche. specific enough that the prospect thinks "how does this person know that" line 2: a one liner that we do something about it. "asking because we do X for similar brands." no benefits or case study. just the hint. line 3: a soft CTA that offers to SHOW, not sell. "would you be open to me walking through how weve done this for similar brands" line 4: nothing. no PS. no logo wall. no "we helped X get Y." the email ends. let me explain why withholding outperforms explaining: every agency owner crams the full pitch into the cold email. who they are, what they do, who theyve helped, what the result was by the time the prospect finishes reading, theyve already made a buying decision in their inbox most buying decisions from strangers are NO you gave them enough information to reject you without ever talking to you withholding the answer turns it into a curiosity decision "do i want to find out what this person noticed about my business" thats a much easier yes than "do i want to buy a service from a stranger" the call isnt a sales call its the answer to the question the email asked the prospect shows up wanting information, not a pitch by the time you explain what you found, theyre already engaged your cold email isnt a sales pitch its a door if you try to sell through the door, the prospect locks it if you ask a question that makes them curious whats on the other side, they open it themselves

6 years ago, I was one of the first cold email guys on Twitter. I came up with people like: @blackhatwizardd @NickAbraham12 @donvesh @seanb2b Then, I threw it all away and completely went rogue. Long story short, I was sick of it. I was watching EVERYONE in the space LARPing about their numbers. Posting the SAME recycled tips every day. And eventually I caught imposter syndrome. This platform made me feel like I was WAY behind. So I left. Locked in on my agency. In the 4 years I've been off of here: • I built a team of 15 people • Worked with 120+ clients • 7-figure run rate this year • I gave a TEDx talk • Quit my software job at Amazon, moved into a new place, bought a new car, rebuilt my whole life And after watching 99% of the industry jump ship and pivot to ads, AI, eCom & info... 4 years later.. I'm back on Twitter now. Different reason this time. I actually have something to teach. Follow along @Axtalks … I've got A LOT to share. PS I was one of the 1st testimonials on Fazio's initial cold email course. Yes, that's the real convo in the screenshot.

If I were starting from scratch with cold email & wanted to sign 10 clients in the next 3 months, here’s what I would do: > Sign up to Smartlead pro plan > Buy 30k+ emails/month package from ScaledMail [50/50] > Buy necessary # of domains from porkbun(.)com > Enable 2 weeks email warm-up for inboxes > Write down who your best customers are > Choose your top 3 customers, write down their industries > Ask GPT-o3 best data sources for finding contacts for those industries > Buy database or scrape free source via instant data scraper (if possible) > Build look-a-like lists of your top 3 industry segments > Import companies to Apollo > Filter for your ideal decision makers to reach out to > Scrape Apollo via custom scraper > Sign up to Clay’s 10k credits/mo plan (3k free credits link below) > Import Apollo contacts into Clay table > Add new column & select enrichments -> waterfall > Add the following data providers: Icypeas, Prospeo, Leadmagic > Run waterfall enrichment on contacts with missing emails > Verify waterfall enriched data with Leadmagic > Export lists and upload to Smartlead > Write down your offer > Craft micro offers that you can give away for free & are valuable > Write email scripts around free micro offers > Keep scripts to the point, less than 40 words > Add spintax to scripts > Create 4-6 variations > Add scripts to Smartlead campaigns > Launch campaign > Review campaign data, iterate on winning angles > Scale
