‼️A German hacker known as "Martha Root" dressed as a pink Power Ranger and deleted a white supremacist dating website live onstage
This happened during the recent CCC conference.
Martha had infiltrated the site, ran her own AI chatbot to extract as much information from users as possible, and downloaded every profile. She also uncovered the owner of the site. She has published all of the data.

This lady did a nice cosplay, and the amount of discourse it has somehow caused is incredibly disheartening.
It's not like she was even making a political statement. People just saw she was black and that was literally all that caused it.

It’s always been interesting that so many black cosplayers just wear their own hair or textured wigs (sometimes the right color, sometimes not) with cosplays instead of trying to look as much like the character as possible.

I hate racial swaps of anime/history/gaming characters.
However I do make an exception for cosplay. When it comes to cosplayers, just let them have fun.
It's not the same as a company pushing politics.
It's just kids having fun.
We White people have been cosplaying Japanese characters forever so we are in no position to tell Black people they can't do it.
The only case in which I would bitch about it is if said Black cosplayer posted a picture and said something racist about owning White people or something.
Then they are not just cosplaying.
Otherwise, let them have fun. It's ok.
She should wear a wig with straight white hair though for Frieren for better character accuracy.
