Mayor Mamdani’s repeated use of the “genocide” accusation against Israel is not just wrong - it’s dangerous. It distorts reality and fuels antisemitism at a moment when Jews are already under threat.

Leaders who claim to stand for human rights should not use rhetoric that puts Jewish communities at risk. timesofisrael.com/liveblog_entry…

What do Thomas Friedman, Tucker Carlson, Bernie Sanders, Candace Owens and Nick Fuentes have in common? In my latest Times of Israel blog, I examine the resurging claim that Israel — or the Jews — are dragging the United States into an endless and unwinnable war. blogs.timesofisrael.com/a-new-war-revi…

Between the sirens and missile fire still hitting Israel and across the Gulf, it is hard to step back and see the bigger picture. But from a purely military perspective, the campaign against Iran is one of the most successful operations Israel has waged since its founding nearly 80 years ago. Iran is a country 2,000 kilometers away and two weeks into this, the IAF continues to retain air supremacy, with and fly over Tehran the same way it flies over Tel Aviv. The regime’s top military leadership has been dismantled. Key parts of Iran’s defense-industrial base are being systematically destroyed - not just ballistic missiles and launchers, but the entire production chain behind them. Factories that produce centrifuges for uranium enrichment have been hit. Facilities connected to weapons testing have been struck. Secretive sites tied to the nuclear program have been targeted. And in the new phase of the war that began a few days ago, Israel - together with the US - is striking the regime’s repression apparatus: the tools used by the Basij and the IRGC to brutally crush protesters who took to the streets earlier this year. The idea is simple: make it harder for the regime to suppress its own people if they rise again. Which is why this war cannot be judged only by the narrow question of regime change, or whether Iran will eventually rebuild its missile program. Of course Iran will try to rebuild and of course it will want to rebuild. But the more important reality is this: the greatest enemy Israel has faced over the last half-century has suffered its most severe strategic defeat. Iran is dramatically weaker today than it was just weeks ago. In the IDF, the assessment is that it will take years to rebuild key components of its military and nuclear infrastructure. Its ability to threaten Israel and project power across the region has been significantly diminished. And the deterrence of Israel and the United States has been re-established in a way that, just weeks ago, seemed almost unimaginable.

Bill Maher: “You’re a Democrat running possibly for [President in 2028], and you’re Jewish. And this is somehow maybe a complete deal breaker in the Democratic Party. I mean, the speed at which antisemitism has gone to a place where I never imagined it would go.” “Just this past week, bombings at synagogues in Toronto, Belgium, and Michigan. The guy drove a truck with explosives into the largest synagogue in West Bloomfield, Norway. They arrested someone. Suspicious behavior outside of the synagogue in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.” “I see a pattern here. And somehow it got to where among the young people, antisemitism got to be kind of cool.” Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro: “There are seeds of antisemitism being planted all over this country… Folks are looking the other way and nodding toward it and allowing it to happen in their businesses, on their screens, and in their politics, and we have to speak up about it.”

An Achievable Goal in Iran - The Atlantic We cannot guarantee regime change but we can produce regime weakening —meaning their ability to attack their neighbors and to control or oppress their public. I explain how to do both. theatlantic.com/international/…

I pray the court will grant the injunction in time to stop the annual hate fest that is #AlQudsDay. This has always been a campaign of the Islamic regime in #Iran to destabilize us, intimidate Jews, and divide us from our democratic ally. It’s time to ban it, as the UK has.
Doug Ford@fordnation

This afternoon, I’ve instructed my Attorney General to pursue an injunction against the Al-Quds Day demonstration planned for Toronto. Hate, violence and intimidation have no place on the streets of Canada and our government will fight it however we can.

@rebsteve @davidfrum @LTCPeterLerner What has been needed for many, many years now is a reckoning with Israel! Since we haven't been willing, Iran is now doing God's work. The solution to antisemitism is destroying Zionism and placing it where it belongs, alongside Nazism.

It's apparently a newly controversial position, but American Jews should have the right BOTH to support the state of Israel as the redeemed national homeland of the Jewish people AND ALSO not to have their children murdered by depraved gunmen.

In @TheAtlantic on the Michigan terror attempt. theatlantic.com/ideas/2026/03/… "If the Jewish state is the source of world evil—meriting its eradication from the “river to the sea”—then it’s just a matter of statistics that, sooner or later, somebody will decide to begin the eradicating against easier targets closer to home. The project of encouraging anti-Zionism without fomenting anti-Semitism is reminiscent of many other attempts to separate marginalized groups from their aspirations to equality: anti-feminism without misogyny, anti-desegregation without racism. It’s not theoretically impossible, it just doesn’t happen very often or very naturally in the real world."
