@fidexcode Beginner friendly has nothing to do with the language to me, as that's just syntax, but if we're going to talk API/Libraries then Python's via pip are far easier to use / fleshed out & less likely to make trouble. A beginner would be far more productive in Python.

@0liviajulianna 1) The tax credits had a baked in expiration date of '25, Congress had to vote to extend them. 2) It's highly unlikely you will use $10k in healthcare in any year of your life that you're not dying. Keep your money and put it in a bank account for medical care only.

I don’t get ACA credits and my healthcare is still going up by $3,600 a year. If your premium goes up too, thank the Republicans in DC who blocked the programs that kept costs down for everyone.

@RubenGallego The program is shit compared to other nations who manage to do this and manage costs. We're paying over $100+ visit for what other countries either manage to do for free or extremely low (hourly wage costs). ACA isn't gonna fix that, it's an infrastructure problem starting at HHS

@RubenGallego I'm not picking a side but the program drove premiums up as soon as it was created. It creates a prison: The true market prices of medical services can never be known, so the price is as high as can be charged. But, couldn't think of a worse name than ACA for this, lol.

Just got this message from a constituent: “Holy crap. My ACA health insurance premiums jumped from $763 to $1195. This is a 64% increase. It’s 23% of my income.” Holy crap is right. Republicans CHOSE THIS.

Nah we don’t live in a simulation. The universe isn’t a simulation. The computational costs required to simulate the observable universe would require a computer larger than the universe itself, e.g. the energy such simulator would need is higher than all the energy available within the universe. Anyway, god isn’t real.

Simulation theory says that it’s extremely unlikely that we live in base reality. Therefore it’s extremely likely that we live in a simulation. A simulation doesn’t exist without it being created, which therefore means there exists a creator. This creator is God.

@farzyness I said no, but because there doesn't have to be a creator for a simulation to exist. Simulations can create simulations, and can spontaneously begin. There may be no "creator" just simply a basic set of universal axioms which launch the simulation.
