Should I get a 256gb VRAM, 8 Nvidia V100 SXM2 Server for ~$1800? I'm so tempted. Pros: Amazing value for the price. Can fit big models, almost the same bandwidth of the 3090 (900 gb/s). Cons: V100s are very old (2017. Volta), no bf16 support.

This one fixes the depenency issues/slowness some had when installed via npm. Plugins are hard, worth it tho! Package is way leaner now, we moved [almost] everything into extensions! docs.openclaw.ai/plugins/manage…

Oh, quick research shows that @AIatMeta is tackling the same privacy concerns for smart glasses (Aria devices) - they actually released an open model called EgoBlur that blurs PII like faces and license plates directly in video - kudos to Meta for sharing something this important 🙌 github.com/facebookresear… Feels like exactly the kind of building block we can plug into projects like this. Could be a great idea for our next hackathon 😄

@dannycwright That’s a valid concern! This is why we’re running this locally (GPU) instead of feeding big centralized systems. Raw footage is analyzed locally by the AI model (yolo + gemma4), not exposed to (potentially malicious) third parties. What the system produces are useful for community event-level summaries - not identity tracking. Opt-out + anonymization should absolutely be part of it though - curious how can we design that?

We gave @openclaw "eyes" at the Miami AI Hackathon this weekend👀 - and we won 2nd place 🥈 Our project lets an AI agent “see” the physical world through CCTV cameras. We started small by analyzing public space cameras in our community, so residents can ask questions like “Did FedEx show up today?” and get answers based on what actually happened, not guesses. This opens up a big step forward for AI agents: • real-world awareness • better decision-making • safer communities • less manual checking and coordination Feels like we’re getting closer to JARVIS in Tony Stark (or @steipete’s Lobster 🦞 😄) On that topic - curious… was JARVIS running locally on GPUs inside the Iron Man suit? @TheAhmadOsman would love your thoughts 😄 Feel free to reproduce this with your own cameras and share the use cases you discover! question: for people who have built cloud computer startups (like @zocomputer) / cloud openclaws etc, how does the model usually work? does each user get their own VM so 1000 users = 1000 instances on fly/aws ec2, or is it one big instance that is shared among users?
