@Run_TheDamnBaII This has been a hot topic for many years! I can't wait for the replies on this one.

It doesn’t matter which hand an O-lineman puts down. As long as they are effective, let them be comfortable #RTDB

@JonSvecX Amen! I said this during practice today about 1000 times. Give or take one or two times. Stay square with near foot and near arm.

Rest in heaven, young man. You will be missed dearly. I'm honored to have been able to coach you. Sending prayers, condolences, and love.

Champions also lean on each other during the good and the bad. They demand greatness from each other, and they won't settle for anything less.

Our profession doesn’t need more egos, jerks, or coaches with questionable character.
It needs more men who lead with humility, integrity, and respect towards their players, their fellow coaches, and everyone around them.

@CoachTatum90 Amen! Say this even louder for the guys in the back and in the bleachers....
English

@regmac33 @CoachTatum90 You can't quantify the importance of field position. Your entire game time strategy springs from it. You practice teams so your kids learn how not to put the team in a hole. Yeah you don't spend a 3rd of the time in a game doing it but that's because you're doing it right.
English

Special Teams is the 3rd phase of the game, but it is not a third of the game.
It’s important but most coaches only say it is because of fear of being chastised on socials…

@colburn42 @CoachTatum90 No. It's a daily part of practice plan. The number of Special Teams play is not equal to Offense and Defense, let alone the individual phases are sometimes minimal in a game. The premise and practice is to assure that you don't treat ST as an after thought.
English

@regmac33 @CoachTatum90 So you spend a third of your practice time on specials?
English

@thewinningdiff1 It starts with coaches willing to put time and energy into their players. When that same player trusts his coach and buys into the team and culture, they've earned the right to push those players beyond their limits. It's a two-way street. People want to be coached hard
English

@CoachLync I would say part of their job is to help the Head Coach/program. Assistant coaches have to be stewards of the program and culture. They also can't be "yes men." They have to be selfless sevants of the team because their impact will go beyond the field.
English

@CololelS @Underwood_szn I like our chances. OU has to come to the Big House and that's not an easy task. Whitt and Co. will have them ready to put on a show. Everyone will see a much different Michigan team
English

@regmac33 @Underwood_szn I want to win that game so bad. But OU is returning more experience than we are. Just as talented as we are with a very experienced very talented Mobile quarterback. We will not be favored for that game. I would say 60/40 OU. But if Bryce is as productive as Mateer. 55/45 UM!
