Met with @AARP to talk about what matters most to seniors: retiring with dignity and security. I’m working in Congress to protect benefits, lower costs, and make sure Kansas seniors have the peace of mind they’ve earned.

Met with @growthenergy to discuss E15, because selling it year-round means lower gas prices for families and stronger markets for farmers. Let’s get it done.

In Kansas, we look out for each other. But federal rules can punish seniors and people with disabilities for receiving food or housing from family. Today, @RepMGS and I are introducing a bill to fix this outdated Social Security rule.

The House just passed my bipartisan ALERT Act. It’s a big step to strengthen aviation safety after the tragic plane collision that took 67 lives, including Kansans. I’m grateful to the victims’ families who help shape this work. We’re not done yet — I’ll keep working to get a final bill across the finish line that fully delivers strong safety reforms.
