Everyone says AI will 10x productivity. I’m not convinced it’s making people better.
I’ve started to notice two types of people:
(1) Those who use AI to avoid thinking
(2) Those who use AI to think harder
The gap between them is getting very wide.
Most people are quietly becoming worse.

I was in a coffee line yesterday morning and got into conversations with two different folks, one of whom was at Nvidia and another one who had run multiple VC funds over the last 40 years. So while SF itself is nice, the people are what make it worth while being here
