@AdamP1242 I don’t get the hate in a change that delivered what is was made to deliver… We conceded fewer goals and looked far better defensively due to the change. We lost but that wasn’t due to Dan burn playing a left back.

I get Lewis Hall has made mistakes and hasn’t been at his best before being dropped but bringing 33 year old Dan Burn back into left back is mad You have one of the best full backs in the league at Newcastle United and Dan Burn is starting ahead of him 😂😂😂 #NUFC

@HelloBenWhite @kendallrowanx The challenge for him is avoiding injury - the few times he’s played 5+ games in a row - think his loan spell, and the second half of Howe’s second season when we came 5th he was a don during those periods. Been so stop start for him. Definitely a player but that’s the challenge

Lee Ryder reported comments from CEO Hopkinson today which looks like he is calling out Howe and the recruitment team for wasting money last summer. Hopkinson comments today - "We’ve got to be looking for those opportunities in the marketplace to join our squad where we think we can acquire them either early in their career or where we think there’s a value gap and use our money most effectively. What we cannot do is overpay!!." #NUFC Hopefully Howe will not be in charge of transfers this summer IF he stays, which looks unlikely.
