@yankeesgoddess Vivas is Dodgers #10 prospect to Sweeney being our #8, so almost like for like rankings wise plus we get the reliever. Sweeney was effectively blocked by Volpe and Peraza, i assume they will be looking at Vivas more as a 3B.

@phakenom @BrendanKutyNJ If Stanton turns up for Spring Training looking like he is running in quicksand, as he was at the end of last season, then he is next to useless. He's just had what was by far the worst year of his career, and there isn't much to suggest he is not in irreversible decline.

@rich29uk @BrendanKutyNJ It would be nice if MLB had an amnesty rule. Once every so often a team could cut a player and get cap amnesty. They still have to pay him but he no longer counts against the luxury tax limit. Would’ve been nice with a rod, Ellsworth Stanton, Etc.
