CNBC anchor Joe Kernen correctly tells President Trump that there were big price increases under Joe Biden but "by the time he was leaving, it was down to about where it is now, about 3%."
Trump lies: "No it wasn't. It was down to 5%, it wasn't down to 3%."
Trump then says he's responsible for prices dropping right after he got elected in November 2024, not just for inflation numbers starting with his inauguration in January 2025. Except...inflation *rose* in November 2024 (to 2.7%) and December 2024 (to 2.9%).
