Breeze Airways is aiming for more Essential Air Service contracts.
They’ve proposed to offer Lewisburg, WV (LWB) and Parkersburg, WV (PKB) a 1x daily flight to Raleigh/Durham (RDU) using the A220.
There’s a lot of competition for both contracts, including proposals from SkyWest, Contour, and Air Wisconsin.

@IshrionA What is most surprising to me is seeing the amount of American Airline codesharing that SkyWest was also offering plus bigger planes and seats too (CR7/CR9 to CLT as an example)
Codeshare, bigger planes, still double daily or 12 weekly, sounds like a win to me! ✅

@AirlineFlyer Tried this the other day. Here’s the options provided. My preference is window up front, but I wonder if “closer to the front” is considered when auto assigning or is it just looking for any window. I had to cancel/rebook and the option to save a preference was gone 🤷🏼♂️

Delta Air Lines cancels one new Dallas Love Field (DAL) route and increases others:
- DAL to New York (LGA) canceled before launch
- DAL to Los Angeles (LAX) will launch at 3x daily instead of 2x
- DAL to Atlanta (ATL) will increase to 6x daily instead of 5x from June

American Airlines will introduce a 15th daily flight on its Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) to Austin (AUS) route starting January 10. It really seems like they're going for that "American Shuttle" style of timings. I believe this is American's highest frequency route.
