@British_Airways Yes, they said that they were not British Airways and no one from BA is based at Palma airport. In the end we had to call through to your customer services again and they provided a ticket no. They could search, but we ended up not sitting next to each other…

@British_Airways after being promised via numerous calls and the check-in desk at Heathrow that our 6 month old son’s ticket was linked to my wife’s booking and the return leg would not be a problem, we are then denied boarding in Mallorca for our son. (Part 1)

(Part 3) such a shame as you see the longest queues at the BA counters whilst so called “budget” airlines seemingly pass through quickly, without issue. It’s a shame to see the slow demise of a once great brand which prided itself on customer service…

(Part 2) after a frantic conversation with BA customer service they were able to prove to the Palma BA check-in desk that it was all linked and we were allowed to board, but we are not seated together!!! Far from ideal with a 6 month old and 4 year old…

A thread… Once again the necessary evil of having to shop at @SportsDirectUK reared its ugly head last week and I had to buy a rucksack for my son for his school stuff. A week in a 2 of the zips broke and today, after checking on their website re returns/refund policy I went ….

@LNER you let everyone get onto a fully booked train, all seats showing “available” then suddenly change to show seat bookings, causing multiple passenger arguments! Is the strategy, if we can’t cancel a train let’s just p!ss everyone off?

@Lord_Sugar @GMB Company I work for compensates for bills if you’re on a “remote worker” contract. They already saw the productivity benefit and P&L savings from adopting this model long before COVID. If you want to retain/employ top talent you’ll need an attractive WFH policy #IMHO.

.@GMB are saying people who work from home should be paid more to keep warm as companies are saving money while the worker are away. RUBBISH they have to pay rent, heating and rates with or without a full work place. People should be paid less they are saving travel costs.

@ladbible Some gent in a hotel was being super noisy until late, obviously an early start wasn’t on his agenda, so first thing on my way out I changed his sign round from “do not disturb” to “make up my room”
