I just requested an archive of my content here. Once I get it, I'm deleting my account. 15 years I've been on here. I'm glad I got to know so many of you, but I'm beyond done with this space. The potential of what it could be was killed, like everything else good, by people.

@rogue3 Granted, but Mercy Kill is like 20 years after the Vong War.

I include Mercy Kill in my personal canon partly because it fits perfectly into the New Republic-First Order Cold War, but mostly because of Myri Antilles.

@XWnHIST Even I have to admit he was a little old to get in a cockpit. I guess I rationalized it because at that point in the Vong war, they needed every pilot they could get.

This is, (I think?) Wedge's last appearance in Legends. Fitting that his cameo captures the good and bad of his portrayal in that continuity: terrifyingly capable warrior, devoted family man...who maybe didn't actually need to be in this story, and is pretty old for a pilot.
