🚀 AgentCoin•com SOLD for $19,800! 💰
📅Creation Year: 2017
✋ Hand-registered
⏳ Held for: 8 years
🏷️Lander: Afternic
This domain was sold earlier this year.
Although a few months have passed, I decided to share it now — because I believe it could be helpful for many of you.
In 2017, I registered many coin domains with strong conviction in the future of "coins".
As a result, I’ve sold over 200 coin-related domains, and I continue to sell them — often at even higher prices.
What I've revealed publicly is less than 10% of my total sales.
Many people only remember the ICO boom and assume the coin domain market is over.
But the truth is, the real wave is just beginning.
That next wave? Deposit Tokens — a new generation of stablecoins.
Banks are starting to issue digital tokens backed by real deposits.
A leading example: JPM Coin.
Starting April 1st, major banks in Korea began testing deposit tokens,
and this is just one part of a much larger global strategy leading toward CBDCs.
The key buyers in this new market? Banks with serious capital.
And domains related to this new wave of tokens could command very high prices.
👉 The real coin domain boom is only just beginning.
Now is the time to be ready. 🚀

🙏 Thank you God, family, & friends.
It's been a while since I shared an interesting domain sale story, and with recent successes, I felt it was a good time to discuss a notable transaction.
Sold Lise.com for $50,000 through @Escrow_com
Final sale price of $52,400 including the fees paid by the buyer.
This transaction is part of a series of sales with blessings of God, where I've been blessed to close deals in the mid five to low six figures range. God is great.
In addition to these sales, I've received numerous other offers in the mid-five to low-six figures range on many of my assets. Some negotiations are still ongoing, and some offers I have declined gracefully. My decision-making is largely influenced by whether certain assets are easy or hard to replace. For those that are not easily replaceable, I stand firm on my expectations, ensuring that every transaction aligns with my valuation and strategic goals.
Regarding the sale of Lise.com, some might view this as underselling, given its potential. However, I consider whether an asset is easily replaceable when deciding on the sale price. Lise.com, a CVCV format domain, is highly versatile and brandable, making it valuable but also replaceable in my strategy.
Understanding the different types of buyers is crucial:
(1) Buyers with a specific asset in mind and a fixed budget.
(2) Buyers with a startup idea who are flexible on the name but have a budget limit.
(3) Buyers unsure of their exact needs but looking for something that stands out within their budget.
The buyer of Lise.com fits into the second category, highlighting the importance of knowing your buyer to facilitate a transaction that meets their needs and your business goals.
Additionally, here are examples of AI companies leveraging similar four-letter domains:
(1) Sora.com: Utilized by OpenAI for video projects.
(2) Grok.com: Employed by X.com for its AI initiatives.
(3) Qwen.com: Used by Alibaba for their AI endeavors (Sold by our own favorite @BradenPollock).
These cases illustrate why 4L domains are favored by startups, especially in tech and AI, for their ease of branding and memorability. Sharing these stories helps us all learn and improve in our domain investing journeys, embodying the principle that "sharing is caring."
