Every team in the NHL knows that Knoblauch coaches the Oilers to sit back on leads. Paul Maurice even called it out in the SCF documentary “We know the Oilers are going to sit back in the 3rd.” How TF has Knoblauch STILL not figured out that this does not work at the NHL level.

@thackattack41 They could have just traded/waived Skinner to fulfill his trade request then played Ingram Pickard. They had almost 3 mo. to see what they had before deadline instead of prematurely acquiring Jarry $5.75m with no retention on a waiver goalie!? They would have Kulak+a 2nd and cap.

The #LetsGoOilers have no more back to back games for the rest of the year. That should be Jarry's last start as an Oiler. What an awful trade.... and I was no Skinner fan......

@TheLineBlender He’s 26 in May. This is him. He gets hit too much and will probably get exposed in the playoffs like last year. He is too small to be a defensive defenseman. Regula has 2RD potential and I know Coffey could develop him into one. Way more ceiling than Emberson or Stastney.

It's games like these that make me highly doubt Emberson will ever be a #2RD.
