I am pumped to announce that, as of April, I have been working at @ethereum foundation as the EVM Dev Tooling Lead. Bittersweetly, this does mark the end of my 3 (!!) years at @aztecnetwork. Thank you to @jaosef @lisacuesta and many others for the amazing memories, offsites and the massive learning opportunity, as I pivoted from engineering to product management. I am excited for what Labs will do post Alpha launch and serving as an example for privacy products in crypto. There is a lot in store there. In my new role at the EF, I hold myself accountable for making it easier to build EVM apps. I plan to tackle: 👉 Fixing top developer pain points and working with @HardhatHQ @solidity_lang, foundry, @etherscan, other SDKs, tooling and even all core devs. And yes, I have a list of the pain points. 👉 Ensuring tooling stays up to date with latest forks (glamsterdam, hegota etc) 👉 Working with the one and only @austingriffith and his team to ensure Claude code and other LLMs can build good, secure dapps (checkout ethskills.com btw!) 👉 Outlining broader language and tooling vision, funding strategies with appropriate teams, 👉 Sunsetting not needed tools or finding other maintainers. I have serving in this role for just about a month now and there is so much cooking. You will be hearing many fun announcements and big frustrations being solved over the next few weeks. Last week belonged to x402 and x402 only. Headlining was x402 moving under the Linux Foundation on Thursday, with every major tech company backing it. But the ecosystem news underneath was just as important. Here's everything that matters: The Linux Foundation — Housing x402 alongside Linux and Node.js neutralizes its biggest existential threat: the perception that it's a Coinbase product rather than an INTERNET PRIMITIVE. Enterprises now have the cover to build on it. Bankr's x402 Cloud — Launching an x402 endpoint meant stitching together payments logic, hosting, and discovery manually. Not anymore. Point Bankr at your service, set a price, deploy with one command. If monetizing a tool still requires custom plumbing, adoption stalls. Bottleneck removed. Ampersend — x402 has no built-in spending limits or reporting. For one agent, that's fine. For a company deploying dozens across hundreds of services, it's not. Ampersend sits on top and adds per-agent budgets, service allowlists, compliance reporting. As single-person companies move from proof of concept to production, this becomes ESSENTIAL. AgentCash — 300+ APIs accessible via x402. The costs are worth noting. An agent found an image of Bankless's "founder," edited it in Nano Banana, emailed the result — 26 cents. It’s funny how the CT horde who were mega bearish on ETH when the exit queue was large have gone completely silent about the entry queue. BTW, the large exit queue never caused ETH staked to go down in a meaningful way because it was just a large entity restructuring their validators. This massive entry queue on the other hand is here to stay, and it’s here with size because ETH is a store of value.

In the past 24 hours, Ethereum’s stablecoin supply grew by $329 million, while Solana’s total stablecoin supply declined by $126 million. solana, the ethereum killer 🤡

Don't worry solana foundation will tell you they minted $250m but not that they burned it minutes later so they can fake metrics to scam users.

Ethereum Researcher @drakefjustin, who co-authored Google's recent quantum paper: "I've stopped thinking about post-quantum as a hurdle that we have to overcome, and I think of it more as an opportunity. It's an opportunity for Ethereum to stand out as the very first global financial system that is post-quantum secure — not just relative to its competitors, but also relative to fiat."

Today, the Linux Foundation announced it is launching the x402 Foundation with the contribution of the x402 protocol from Coinbase. Claude's source code just leaked. (Bookmark this!) Over 500,000 lines of code exposed for the world to see. And buried in there is something that should make every crypto holder pay attention... Anthropic's AI coding assistant has references to x402 throughout its codebase. ICYMI: x402 is the @Coinbase developed open protocol for agentic payments, letting AI agents autonomously make payments on behalf of users. This inclusion hints that: - Claude could soon buy things for you automatically - No approval needed for every transaction - AI agents will be handling micro-payments in the background - And all on a crypto-native open protocol The code doesn't lie... x402 is in there, and it's mentioned a bunch of times. Bullish!
