@jmthrivept I don’t fully disagree but just a few months ago we literally watch Phillip Rivers start multiple games. There is and has always been a shortage of competent QBs available.

I don’t understand what Jacoby Brissett plans to do if Arizona doesn’t agree to his terms. They could cut him and save $5.9M, roll with Minshew and Carson Beck, land a better 2027 pick. It’s not like Jacoby would start anywhere else. Every other team has their starter situated.
Josh Weinfuss@joshweinfuss

NEWS: The Cardinals and QB Jacoby Brissett are "significantly" far apart in negotiations to rework the last year of his contract for 2026, a source told ESPN. The gap in the negotiations puts into question whether Brissett, who has yet to report to Arizona's voluntary offseason program, will attend next week's voluntary OTAs, the source said. @AnthonyBetss I guess people get to be cowards easier now days hiding behind an avitar and fake name. If people had to say things face to face. 90% of this goes away. Appreciate you always being open to interacting.

Oh I’m not saying the hatred is new lol. It’s way worse though. I mean you have people begging for others to die and so on. Politics is nasty now is my point. What used to be like a thing you could disagree on has turned into a don’t talk about it thing or else it’s a nuke ready to go off

Can we go back to the time in life where nobody talked about their political views 😂 Politics is the worst thing to talk with people because if you voted opposite of them you’re instantly a horrible person and sleeping in the bed of who you voted for. Shits WILD

@AnthonyBetss I still don’t unless they wear a shirt or hat or I guess wave their Instagram or Twitter in my face. But campaign buttons were major fashion statements for decades. Not taking a side just saying this hatred of the “other side” isn’t new.

@ryanjackson702 As a kid did you walk around knowing everyone’s political views? I certainly didn’t between living in NY and NC.

@FFMikeKash I guess the otherside is he carved up really really bad teams at the end of the year and if they pick in top 10-12 and this QB class is as good as people say then he could get replaced?

Tyler Shough has a stigma around him from pre-draft grades, had the team invest heavily in the offense, and played pretty well with his starting time in 2025 Someone tell me why we shouldn’t all be buying him in dynasty plz

@Dchorp1 @heathcummingssr Oh I agree on a human level. Just saying fantasy analysts keep making excuses as this being a “buying” opportunity as if the same wasn’t said on Josh Gordon.

After all that has gone on the past week how mad do you think Dan would be if I sent him a 2026 2nd for Rashee Rice right now?

It's time for my Rashee Rice #FFLegalUpdate after spending some time with the court documents this afternoon. I think my opinion on this case will surprise you a bit, because as always, the devil is in the details. Here are my thoughts... 1/🧵

I really like Keaton Mitchell as well, but he had a 0% explosive run rate on plays where there were 3 or fewer yards before contact Mitchell led the NFL (by a lot) on YBCO/Att at 4.47 There is a chicken and egg situation - is he creating the late/no contact? @FantasyPtsData
Zain Dhanani@DhananiZain

Median projections on Omarion Hampton are the bear case - it's hard to project an absolute smash of a season w/o priors, so here's the bull case w/ stats via @FantasyPtsData: Pre-injury Hampton (Wks 1-5) among 2025 RBs with ≥50 carries: • #9 Explosive Run %: 6.1% • #10 YACO/Att: 2.75 • #13 YPC: 4.76 • #16 Success Rate: 47.0% Respectable and good across the board as a rookie. 🧵👇

@ffdataroma At what point is this “buying the dip” on Josh Gordon? That he can’t stop weed for a period of time with millions of $$$ on the line seems like a major issue that’s hard to put on a spread sheet.

@Fitz_FF I do agree I want Bowers over McBride but I did last season too. I think Loveland is awesome but lots of target competition there with a much better team and run scheme. Anointing Loveland on a 4-5 game sample seems risky.

@ryanjackson702 Well, he only led in TE targets that much because Bowers (who had 150+ targets as a rookie) was hurt last year. And this is a subjective thing, but I personally think Bowers is a better player than McBride.

@ryanjackson702 @DBro_FFB Don't you think the commitment to Love with the No. 3 pick in the draft suggests that they're going to run the ball at a much higher rate than they did last year, when they kept losing RBs to injuries? Unlike Dallas and Cincy, Arizona wasn't passing because they were good at it.

@Fitz_FF @DBro_FFB Certainly something to factor in for sure. So if McBride has his targets cut by 50 then he still leads the TE position? That seems like some solid insulation.Their pass attempts were also lower than the NFL leader in attempts in 3 of the past 4 years so not some outlier season.

@Fitz_FF @DBro_FFB Dallas has been a top 3 pass attempts team from 2023-2025. Cincinnati number 2 in attempts in 24 and 25. I don’t see why the Cardinals defense does not lend to being a top 3 team in pass attempts and garbage time again. Just odd he is being written off so nonchalantly.

@ryanjackson702 @DBro_FFB Cardinals led the league in pass attempts. McBride was 3rd in the league in targets and had something like 59 more targets than Pitts, who was 2nd in TE targets. Odds are they wouldn’t lead the NFL in pass attempts 2 straight years even if they hadn’t drafted an RB 3rd overall.

Some notable Cardinals injury updates: -James Conner, Starling Thomas were both working on the side w/ trainers -Tip Reiman was standing on the side in street clothes and barefoot -With Garrett Williams out, Sean Murphy-Bunting was working with the nickels/safeties

@DBro_FFB @Fitz_FF So bizarre the Trey McBride swing. He destroyed the competition to be TE1. He could have had tons of production stripped and still been #1 and looking at the Cardinals schedule I don’t think I’m going out on a limb saying they will be throwing again a lot but sure Kirk Cousins.
