@roikfbuwgc254 Yes! 😃 It’s very common for friends to get together on the weekend to sit around a fire and talk about memories and hopes. You might even have s’mores or drinks and play a game called “cornhole” or “bags” where you throw bags onto a wooden board with a hole in it for points.

@DaftLimmy Bear blog is a good small scale blog, but there are loads of ways to make a blog for your site, even just a .txt can work. Remember to use RSS, it's a protocol where people can get notifications on your updates. I wrote an intro to RSS here: polyducks.co.uk/pages/what-is-…

lots of people today saying ah yeah web2 cloud sucks use web3 cloud. ok fine. but let's be honest, there is currently no web3 "cloud" in the sense there is a web2 cloud. why? to put it simply, blockchain storage is expensive and onchain runtimes work differently than "normal" programming for the most part ipfs is a good-ish solution to storage, along with other currently-in-development storage solutions, but it's not perfect - it's not nearly as fast as a database and relies on a small handful of gateways or private companies running pinning services. is there a compute/full-cloud-suite-like solution? yes, but it's still at least a year+ down the road - however, the important thing to note that i want to bring up here is that blockchains aren't everything. blockchains are good at some things, and bad at others. the whole concept behind "web3" is that web3 is a new internet, which is composed of a bunch of technologies which empower the user - p2p protocols, cryptography/encryption (privacy and verifiability), blockchain (ledger), distributed storage, onion routing, and a lot of other things which can be combined to create a truly sovereign, private web where your data and your money and your digital life is YOURS. JAM does a lot for this and enables all of the building blocks we need for such a truly web2-like cloud suite, but we need services to be developed on top as well - web3 can look like web2 to developers, and that's important. meet the users and devs where they are, at least for now. JAM is a hybrid system of which only one part is a blockchain think beyond the ledger and take back the whole fucking internet for the people, not just money
